Neither grill was working. It was a bit out of date .. but was clean.. I could tell this WAS. Great hotel once.. I hope to stay there again.. if they update

The web site showed an address as 401 Bay Area Blvd. I put that location in Waze and it took me to a car wash. The actual address is E. Bay Area Blvd. Big difference.

Nothing at all!

Check in was super easy and friendly and showed the Wednesday evening shared guest meal. The rooms were very spacious and quiet. Everything worked like it should and the beds were comfortable for a good night's sleep. There is a great Mexican restaurant across the parking lot which did amazing margaritas. Highly recommended. Check out was fast and simple and the staff again were amazing. Property is very handy to the Houston Space Centre.

We were upset the pool was closed for the 4 days we were there. It wasn't cleaned and opened. The pool was the reason we picked that hotel.

The workspace and desk for computer/office work, could be a bit bigger - Given that the rest of the space is so big. Maybe you could make some of the rooms with a special profile for more "office-work friendly"

Very nice apartment room, with all what is needed. Comfortable bed and two TV's in two different rooms. Sufficient kitchen to warm up or make your own food. Nice pool and basketball yard for the kids. WIFI worked well. Good breakfast.

There was no soap for the dishwasher in the room. We rinsed the few cups we used and loaded the dishwasher before we left, but could not start it before we left.

The breakfast was better than I was expecting. We have stayed in various Homewood Suites and this one has the best breakfast so far. The ladies working the food area kept it stocked and cleaned. The food is Sysco food that you get at any hotel, however, it was actually good.

Leaking and noisy tub faucet and being on the first floor. Too much stomping from guests on upper floors. Next time I will request to be on any other floor but the first floor.

The reviews are correct. Believe them. I can handle outdated, but outright repair and maintenance deficiencies are not OK. This hotel does not meet Hilton standards, and if they were to have a franchise check, it would likely be revoked. Extreme maintenance issues with walls, ceilings with holes, cracking/broken molded baseboards, broken door handles, difficult faucets, and areas you didn't want to stare at too much, or you'd be disgusted. Should have taken pics, but I was too turned off and more pics than could have posted. I'm sure duplicates of other reviews. Housekeeping seems to do the best they can and showed thoughtful care to cleaning our room, but it's beyond them. The hotel needs an extreme renovation. Also, the hotel gets way too much compensation to only have 1 waffle maker. Which are not expensive. There should have been at minimum 2. If you recognize the need for 2 toasters, you are well aware there should be 2 waffle makers.

The location is excellent for accessing Galveston and Kemah, but still reasonable for other Houston entertainment. Room size was great and comfortable. Staff was friendly.
