Room was too expensive for the services offered. I would not come again to this hotel. The cabinet was broken. Internet connection was bad.

Location was close to the Field museum. Room was of good size. Breakfast was too light.

They clean rooms every other day, but could at least offer to take out trash and replace towels without having to call them to come and do that.

Location was good, parking was not so great, but that's pretty much the way it is all over Chicago. The staff were very nice and friendly.

The breakfast was very basic, just the minimum and not very healthy! Personally, it was enough for a quick snack, but it felt more like a 2-star hotel breakfast in Europe, not what I’d expect from Hilton. There were no vegetables at all, and the only fruits available were apples and sometimes bananas. The most disappointing part was the use of plastic plates and cutlery. While other countries are fighting plastic waste and have already banned plastic straws, here, during one breakfast, the staff took out several bags of plastic tableware! It was such a terrible sight! Additionally, I was charged a $525 deposit (for 7 nights), even though Booking.com listed it as €75 for the entire stay. However, the money was returned to my card quickly. The mattress was full of lumps. There was no proper blanket, just a few thin sheets. The air conditioner was very noisy and hard to figure out how it works. When I turned it off, it would turn back on by itself. These were just some of my observations, but overall, the room was good. I had a pleasant stay.

My recent stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton in the South Loop area of Chicago was very enjoyable. The hotel has a great location — close to downtown, the park, and the lakefront, where you can walk and enjoy views of the city. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. I got a room on the 17th floor with a beautiful city view, and in the morning I could see the sunrise over Lake Michigan — truly memorable! The staff was friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the young woman who checked me in late on August 18 — she was very kind, cheerful, and welcoming. The pool is small, but warm and perfect for relaxing after a long day.

The breakfast was adequate, but the service staff seemed overwhelmed. Often items had run out, despite the crew working diligently to refresh. It is unfortunate that there is so much disposable plastic waste. Surely Hilton can find a way for guests to not use styrofoam plates and plastic cutlery.

The location was excellent and much was in walking distance. It was a plus that the subway connection and placement was good. The facilities were clean and welcoming. We appreciated the coffee service in the entrance.

I stay here often, when I come we never seem to be able to get a late check out. I can only guess it's because of the season. They have a nice location and staff is friendly.

I was not made aware that parking was going to cost $70 a night. The pool experience was not great, there were lots of kids unattended. We witnessed them steal things from other guests and one of them jumped on my grandson and clawed all over him.

The location was great, breakfast was good.

Rooms were not serviced every other day as promised on the flyer they hand you at check in. Ours was done after three nights. I ask at the front desk before being cleaned that they refill the conditioner dispenser in the bathroom. Came back 3 hours later to find a clean room but no conditioner. Went down to the front desk and requested this again. Told they would alert housekeeping but no one ever came. Also note the pool is shared by two hotels so it’s very busy in the evenings.

The breakfast is very busy as it is two hotels sharing one space. But good food and plenty of selection. Staff was constantly refilling. Rooms were roomy. Loved being close to the museums.

The scheduled hot breakfast wasn’t my vibe.

We loved being able to walk to the museum campus, Willis Tower, and Cloud Gate. The proximity and variety of restaurants were a big plus too.
