How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

While here the fire alarms went off and we realized the alarms in our room (123) did not have an alarm going off. The only audible alarm was in the hallway and we wouldn’t have known had our bedroom door been closed and an employee didn’t knock on the door to bring this to our attention. This is a safety hazard as there was no way for us knowing there was a fire in the building.
The rooms were big and roomy. Washrooms were big and easily accessible while there was also a kitchen to store bought goods.

Some spots on the laminated floor in our suite. ? Glue when flooring was done. Made the floor look dirty. I mentioned it to the mgr. on the way out. Otherwise, we had a really good, comfortable stay.
Firstly, the breakfast room is beautifully decorated in a modern style with nice, soothing colors, looking out onto a nice patio garden. It feels like you're at home(upgraded, of course). There are seating options including a library area. Very nice! The food was really, really, really good! I told one of the ladies who staffs the kitchen. Lots of breakfast options and beautifully presented. Warm scones, yum. The suite was very nice. It was quiet. Did not hear a single plane. Good bed, good sleep. Nice decor. Staff was courteous.

The kitchenette was very useful and a major draw.
Great location for the general area, I thought the Wegmans would be walking distance but it wasn’t. Next time I’d probably stay near other food establishments.

The front desk guy, the day we checked out, wasn't the nicest. I guess no place is perfect.
The room was very nice and was able to accommodate the three of us (my parents and I) comfortably. The pool area looked nice as well and had a hot tube, too. The breakfast was very diverse and of a very good quality when compared to the rest of most hotels nowadays. We had a lively stay, and we can truly recommend this hotel.

Front desk was left unattended several times during the day. Waited 20 minutes to check in because no one was there. When she finally showed up after we just kept calling the hotel and letting the phone ring to get someone’s attention, she was rude and unapologetic for making us wait.
Room was good size with comfortable bed. Breakfast was ok. Room was clean.

The hot tub was too hot to enjoy. The pool was a little bit too cold. There were not enough towels in the pool area. Beds were a little too firm for my liking, and pillows were flat. I booked a king room and ended up with two doubles. It worked for my family but would have preferred the room that I actually booked.
The rooms were exceptionally clean and a good size for my family of four. Nice and friendly staff and an easy drive to the Buffalo Convention Center. Good variety of breakfast choices.

The ac in our room was loud when first turned on, to point rattled the room/bed. Hot tub water was to hot and pool cold, but they had just reopened both night before our stay.
Staff very friendly, they were in remodel stages but still quiet and clean. Breakfast good

Stopping in during a renovation was not the most pleasant experience. Developed a cough and runny nose because of the dust even though measures were taken to try to keep it contained.Breakfast wasn’t its usual top notch.
Love this property for its location. Convenient to where our friends live. Perfect for shopping also.
