Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. RomaniaThe sheets were clean but quite old. The fridge was dirty inside and the shower drain was clogged, so water pooled while showering. During our 4-night stay, the room was cleaned only once, and only superficially.
The location was excellent, just a short walk to all the main attractions. The room was spacious and even had a small kitchenette, which was very convenient. Breakfast was tasty, even if not extremely varied. The towels were clean and of very good quality. There’s also a nice restaurant on the ground floor.

Was very pleasantly surprised. Excellent facilities, very good service. The room was excellent and looked like recently refurbished. The location was a little way from the lake front but you could still walk it. The breakfast was a surprise as well. We were expecting the typical American style of watery coffee and donuts but there was cereals, toast, fresh fruit, eggs, sausage patties and a endless supply of milk which you could take to your room for cups of tea!

ItalyWe didn't like the air conditioning system that was too cold in the common spaces and we had some problems with the cleaning room services, they should clean every other day but in our room they missed 1 day and in 4 days they came only 1 time after our requests and prompts.
We stayed for 4 nights and we enjoyed the city from this spot. It's really close by the Chicago red line station 5 minutes by walk and 10/15 minutes by the riverwalk. The room was nice and the breakfast was excellent!

Puerto RicoThat they didn’t make the room. I had to ask on my third day and even though they didn’t come. We were four and I have to ask for extra towels because they were all wet. Also there was a rotten smell as you entered the room (720) that seemed to come from the toilet. I told Ashley (she was very nice) but no one came. Hope they fix it for the nexts customers because it was terrible…
It was well Located, as though it was far from my boy’s university it was near trains and lots of restaurants.

They were so nice to us and especially to our 5 year old daughter who keeps telling me "Mama, I want to move to Chicago when I'm big and work at the Home2Suites with the people who were there." Aw. It was wonderful after an extremely stressful travel day (car problems).

United StatesUnfortunately, the receptionist Mark was very unfriendly. I don’t speak English, but instead of helping, he was rude and didn’t explain anything properly. The parking was far away, and only other guests helped us figure it out. Very unpleasant experience.
When we entered the hotel, a staff member greeted us right away, explained everything clearly, and helped us. At check-in, he gave us a luggage cart, helped us get to the room, and showed us the way. Very friendly and pleasant person. We really appreciated his attitude!

The location is very convenient, in a walking distance to many spots and close to metro and bus stops. The room is very clean, has a full size fridge, microwave, dishwasher, enough plates and cups.The bed is comfortable. Breakfast is descent, it is nice to have waffles for kids. The reception personnel is absolutely amazing: very helpful and friendly! We had a late night flight back home and the guys kept our luggage safe and allowed us to stay for a while in the lobby with a cozy balcony. Definitely recommended!

IndiaThe bed was a little small for 2 and a half people. There was a sofa which could turn into a bed but that was not very comfortable. On the first day, we found that our fridge was not working at all (Infact the main wire which connects the fridge to the electric socket was broken). Plus it was stinking. It took a bit of persusing to get the fridge changed on the same evening. We were offered a new room but since we had already unpacked, my wife had to really plead to let us remain in the same room and get the actual fridge changed. The cleaning staff was nice but they would not prefer to clean the room during any other hours except their own. ALso, what is the whole concept of hotels not cleaning rooms daily but only on alternate days? In no other part of the world are hotel rooms NOT cleaned daily. Even the water pressure of the shower was not very good. We were told the pressure is the same on every room. Please be aware that AC temprarture can only be kept at maximum 78 degrees in Faherniet. This is ok during summers bu will be horrible in Winters. It would also be helpful if more breakfast variety was provided. There were very limited options for vegetarians. For the kind of money that the hotel charges, they should have 2-3 hot items to eat for vegetarians. ALso, the laundry is not free. They should have free laundry. $5.50 for washing plus drying plus washing powder seems a rip off. While the hotel room and staff is very nice, the facilities and utilities have a lot of room of improvement.
Hotel is situated in the heart of Downtown Chicago. Very close to several bus stops(Depending on where you want to go) and one can go to most popular tourist places with maximum of just 1 bus change. The subway is around 15 minute walk but the buses are most used transport in Chicago. The room was decent big with all kitchen facilities and utilities(Except an electric gas). The hotel serves breakfast every day and no matter how full the hotel is, you will always find place to eat the breakfast before you start the day.
