Heat don't work ,it was cold in the room,when we arrived the door wouldn't work but he let us in ,cold in the bathroom ,couldn't take a shower the bedroom was cold to,

Not stay there anymore, I don't know what live there too ,learn a lesson ,cheap is not all ways good don't take any ,know reason to take pictures

The location was convenient to Liberty and Lynchburg Universities. Basically renting a room, somewhat like a BnB. Although not a BnB. It was worth the money as I needed an economical place to sleep while getting my kid from college.

It would be nice to use outdoor space to sit and relax, or eat takeout. There is no access to other areas of the home or outside, which we knew when we booked. So no breach or surprise here.

We were guests in his home and were treated with warmth and respect. He offered coffee and croissants in the morning which was very nice.

Better not to have an allergy to dog hair. Owner does have a pet in the house. It is a fine old home. Three guest rooms. Master bedroom has its own bath. Other two suites share a bathroom. No one else there but us at the time, so that worked out well for us.

If all you need is a safe, quiet, comfortable and clean place to bed for the night at an affordable price, then the Rittenhouse is the place for you. No TV or mini fridge. Not expected, not needed for us. Not promised in the listing. Host could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Great morning coffee or tea.

Our group of three women who were attending a conference at Thomas Road Baptist Church enjoyed the “homey” feel, but most of all enjoyed the owner/manager, Giovanni. He took the greatest care of us, and we would definitely stay here again. As a matter of fact, we look forward to next year’s stay.

Poor value for the $..ad erased rate plus cleaning fee $111 for a shared bath a tiny room and a meager am snack ..not worth it especially given $30 cleaning fee for a one night stay.

This was a great loacation. They have radiator heating, so if you are mot used to moise when you sleep, that would be the only issue.

Clean, safe, easy to find. A good place to stay. Room as advertised. Everything comfortable and quiet. Nice backyard, free parking. Made reservation around 10 or 11am on booking and arrived at 9pm, no problem. Host greeted me and ensured I had everything I needed. I was a solo female traveler and felt safe at all times. Rooms clearly marked, towels big and fluffy, sheets and bedding nice. Host offered me coffee and tea for breakfast but I had to rush out quite early and so missed the occasion to enjoy the hospitality. I prefer this place over a big hotel. Would stay again.
