How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Location was excellent close to railway station, supermarket and main Street. All walkable from hotel.

The tv service is really bad ! The channel guide was only available on the tv. Programming is horrible! Two news channels, tons of infomercials, if that’s you thing. There was no weather channel, movies available free were very old ! Holiday Inn and Suites, Williams needs to upgrade their channels. For the price one pays to stay, better tv options would be a great addition. I won’t stay there again.
The property was nice, clean and within walking distance to shopping and attractions.

Bed and loveseat were very uncomfortable and the staff didn't seem to care about the guests. They were very cold when we entered and refused us a basic service when we called to the desk. They were outside smoking next to the entrance when we checked out the next day.
Easy to find, large rooms, close to town, and pool was nice.

Great location , lot of restaurants within a mile. Breakfast was good. Swimming pool and Jacuzzi were great. The room didn't seem to be completely clean when we checked in. There weren't any towels and we had to collect those from reception because of unavailability of their staff. The stay was decent though.

The beds were very firm and not the most comfortable.
The staff was extremely friendly! Free breakfast was good! The town was cool! Microwave in the room! 2/4 places we stayed during our trip did not have them.

Ice lid was broken. The pool humidor was broken, there was water dripping from the ceiling, super steamy inside the small room, hot tub was white and smell strongly of chlorine. It gave me a headache and my daughter’s leg was itchy after. Never seen a pool room like that and that pool room needs to be ventilated or closed
The staff front desk & breakfast attendant, and the room was nice.

We booked a suite and were told when we arrived there was a glitch in the system and we got a smaller room and still had to pay for the bigger room we didn’t get. That was very disappointing

I was a little bit surprised at the additional charges for utilities/water use. I understand and don't mind, but thought this should have been included in the price quoted.
Breakfast was great and the location was perfect for accessing the Grand Canyon!

Wifi didn’t work for our room/name combo. It was late and we were leaving early so we didn’t bother asking for help.
Breakfast was served earlier than stated - helped us get on the road to the Grand Canyon quicker, and it was great! Delicious cinnamon rolls!!

Free breakfast. Facilities were great, had a pool, jacuzzi, laundry room and free tea and coffee at reception. Room was bigger than most and very comfortable and in a quiet area. 70 minutes to Grand Canyon. Lovely little town with lots of small shops, managed to get a few gifts. Large supermarket in town centre. One of the best Holiday Inn's I have stayed in.

Bed a little too firm for my liking. The pillows were in the wrong case. I started out sleeping on a firm pillow that was in the soft case. Once I switched Pillows, I slept well. ONE of the kitchen staff with blonde hair was extremely rude to another person that I was standing beside. I reported her to the front desk
The desk staff and housekeeping staff were very nice and friendly. Clean room.

The breakfast and staff were great, helpful and friendly. Our hair dryer wasn’t the best and the front desk happily replaced it. The coffee was good and really liked having the tea option.
