How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The bacon was overly cooked, too hard and dry. There were several loose tiles in the bathroom that rocked when stepped on.
The breakfast was good. I enjoyed the turkey sausage. The room was quiet and the bed very comfortable.

Breakfast is ok, but nothing special and never seems to change.
We stay here all the time. Close to family and easy to get around. Not so big which we like. Friendly staff. Great location. Clean rooms.

The property is a little old. However I saw staff working to make repairs. There is only one little elevator. The TV in the room is very small.
The hotel was very accommodating. We were traveling as a group and they kindly supplied us with additional towels upon request. I had also booked online and forgot to request a handicap accessible room. I called in the last minute to request it. Upon arrival they said , "Oh yes, we have that room ready for you." Exceptional customer service. Breakfast was delicious!

Room 220 was just let down for us. Worn with broken tiles, drawers hanging out, desktop lamp not working shower head needed to be repaired. Just not the standard we expected for the money OR for returning customers!!
Sadly on Saturday all the biscuits were burned the egg and cheese omelets were not very warm. The breakfast was lacking love... The location of the hotel remains safe, quiet and excellent for our purposes. Note: At the end of sidewalk one can find the Old Settlers Cemetery a lovely resting place of early Pearland including six Civil War Veterans. May they all rest in peace.

The pool was not clean and the cleaning lady in the morning was s bit rude in the kitchen area other than that all was good

Good breakfast spread but tea selection was lacking. Only one kind of coffee. They did read our request and put the extra towels in our room but we asked not to be near ice machine or elevator. How ever it was not a big problem.

Staff was friendly and facility was generally clean. Room shower mat needed to be replaced. No TV directory. Location was quiet. Free breakfast okay except for eggs and breakfast meats which were barely edible.

The room was a little outdated, the shower floor was a little gross and water got all over the floor. There also werent a lot of options on TV and the internet was free but very slow.
We liked to location, price and size of the room. The bedroom was comfortable and we had a good breakfast with a few choices to eat.

Just a one- night stay, so didn't have time to fully experience the site but what we had was good and certainly better than the less than positive reviews I'd read. The room was clean and well maintained. The only minor criticism I have is that the water pressure was very low.

I picked that location because it was close to my work and Houston was having a “weather” event. Snow to be exact. I was not informed until I was fully checked in that the property does not have a back up generator, and if the power goes out there’s nothing they can do. I wish I would have know that, I would have booked somewhere else. The carpet in the room is old and worn and it had broken tiles.
The location and the property is pretty.

There was a strong odor in the room. I’m not sure if it was the carpet but it gave the feel that the room was not cleaned well. The bathroom sink was clogged but not a big deal. I let the desk know on checkout and they addressed it right away.
The breakfast was good and the bed was super comfy.
