How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room was big and clean
The hot tube was not working, I chose the Hotel for that reason only.

Pillows were way too soft and flat. The towels were so thin they didnt dry you off. Two were needed for each shower. The coffee machine was dirty inside the water reservoir. I did not trust to use it
Price was very low. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom and shower were clean. Staff were kind and helpful. Overall was good experience.

Space for to put your plate down while putting food on the plate.
I requested, a king bed but I was informed it might be a different type room. I was in a double queen which was ok with me as long as it didn't increase the price. The breakfast had variety, was tasty and presented well. Only improvement needed was some space near the hot food to set down your plate so you had both hands to to put food on it,

I had called ahead of time to ensure the pool and hot tub were open. When I arrived the hot tub was lukewarm. Told it was being serviced. Disappointing. Had planned on using the hot tub after a very long drive. We were given a room that had a door that adjoined a neighboring room. We were not asked if this was our preference.
The hotel is very clean. The staff gave us a welcome bag. The hotel is very clean. Every staff member greeted us when passing in the halls. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was great for a self serve breakfast. The rate was affordable. Stores and dinning within a short drive.

Albany is a hustling town. Signs at breakfast ask for tips, envelope in the room asks for tips. Random guy in a nearby carpark asked for gas money. Would be nice if the hotel paid staff enough that they don't have to plug guests for more. Also, the milk had turned (despite being in-date) and staff tossed it and gave me a newer carton but I'm sure the rest were also bad. Food handling training possibly due.
Decent breakfast, no faults with the room, just far enough out of the city so the traffic in the morning wasn't a problem. Bathroom included conditioner AND shampoo AND a toothbrush. Despite issues, I'd stay again.

Room was a bit confusing to find but the only real hiccup was that some sort of alarm (fire?) went off at about 5:45 AM briefly but other than that it was a great stay
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was very clean! Breakfast was surprisingly good, great coffee!

The coffee machine in room didn’t work, there was an ironing board, but no iron. An iron was brought when asked for. There was no blow dryer in bathroom. One was brought when I asked for it, but it needed to be hard wired, no way to plug it in.

We checked in the night of April 11th 2025. The receptionist (black woman) was excellent. The cooking staff accommodated a large order close to closing.

The shower gel and shampoo/conditioner are bolted to the shower wall in a dispenser which makes it impossible to use them for a bath without having to stand up. Also no fan in the bathroom which was weird.

Towels were thin and torn.. Everyone was waiting in the crowded lobby to check in which was unorganized and an hour later than 3:00. The man at the desk did not know his job and was rude. But the other staff members working there were trying their best to fix the situation. The pub was not open until dinner so people could not wait there.
The location and property are very good. We stay here every year. Our family enjoys the pool and breakfast. The staff is usually very friendly.
