The receptionist was bot very nice and had a serious attitude. The toilet in one of our rooms wasn't wkg and we had to move rooms- rather than her apologizing for broken toilet she acted like we were putting her out.

The Holiday Inn Express met my expectations for value, cleanliness, quiet, comfort and good service. Newer hotel across the street from UO; plenty of restaurant, pub, etc. opportunities in the area. Staff was always present when needed.

Our blackout curtain was broken, the automatic control would not make it lower. I called the lobby, the receptionist said he would be up in a few minutes. About 45 minutes later I went to the lobby to check to see if they were busy. No, he had forgotten. He came up to the room and could not get the blackout curtain to lower with the remote.He had to grab it and pull it down. It was well beyond the window, but it was finally down.

The Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Eugene Downtown - University, was clean, the staff was welcoming and friendly. Breakfast had many choices and the coffee was good.

We had a small problem in our room with the toilet, which needed to be bolted down with more care. Shower stall could also have used a good scrub. These are simple maintenance issues, and we let the staff know about them on the way out. Otherwise great place to stay.

Lots to like - there is a small pool and hot tub good for relaxing with the kids after a long day out. The hotel breakfast was surprisingly good, even for my partner, who is GF and sensitive to lots of other things. Easy to find, plenty of parking, and very friendly staff. Well-staffed, as well. The place was crawling with employees the morning we left.

A very nice hotel in a great location for visiting univ of Oregon. Staff were wonderful , accommodations were clean and comfortable with a nice breakfast offering. Grocery store nearby and room had a refrigerator, microwave and even some paper plates and utensils . Small but well supplied fitness room and indoor pool

Street motorcycle noise around the hotel but there isn't much they can do about that.

Location was good and within walking distance to restaurants. Ample parking and good breakfast options.
