The hotel was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was very delicious and many options. Staff was very friendly.

Everything was great.

The front desk staff was helpful. They accommodated an additional night and had excellent dinner recommendations. The breakfast service was good, and the servers were attentive. We could use more toasters and a variety of fruits. The space was clean, and that was important.

The gym was found lacking. The light switch didn't work, and the front desk had to be called. Additionally, the television was not working. It was not a welcoming space.

The staff was welcoming and informative. We had our small dog with us and there are many sidewalks on the property and the street to walk him.

There was quite a bit of vegetation. It was very pretty. The building was clean and the room was clean and comfortable.

Hotel really needs a refresh. Second time staying there and it just really really needs a refresh (draperies, carpet, paint, etc).

The breakfast selection was great! Breakfast timing was excellent. Indoor and outdoor seating was excellent. Laundry facility on site was an excellent option. Rooms were very clean.

Pool area had students coming through the fence. Rules not adhered to - vaping by the pool. Our room did not have privacy curtains or shade! The room was rather bright at night...

Room smelled like mildew, carpet dirty, very expensive ($400) for one night and for that price I expected to have a great experience but I couldn't wait to leave.

Pool, breakfast, beds

Family across the hall kept us up 4 times the first night. Toddler running down the hall, screaming baby. Then our smoke detector battery went off at 5am the next morning. I called the front desk 5 times and no one answered. I got my kids situated and walked down and the woman at the front desk was so helpful! However, she promised maintenance when they didn’t come within her time frame. My kids and I ended up waiting jn the room to resolve the smoke detector issue instead of going out to enjoy our time in Carpinteria as we’d planned. This was challenging because I’m a single mom who had saved for a few years for a summer beach weekend, and yet we had a super hard stay. We were cranky due to lack of sleep and so we didn’t enjoy the stay. I wish I hadn’t wasted the money on the trip and had chosen and different place so that we had been in better moods to enjoy our time together. Next time I will choose a different hotel in hopes that our trip every 2-3 years won’t be fraught with early wake ups and wasted hotel fees.

Loved the location; the hotel was close to the beach and had fun shops and restaurants to walk to and explore. The facility was clean, had plenty of parking. Staff was great. I also love how there was complimentary breakfast with plenty of seating in the dining area. My family also enjoyed the hot tub and the heated pool. Also ice machines and amenities like the gym were easy to find. We also thought that entrances to hotel were great; the hotel had various doors with key card entrances available other than main lobby entrance.

Saddened that on our last day of stay the hot tub had a not working sign. Also on the last day, the complimentary breakfast had the same option of food from the day before and the pancake machine was also no working.

It was nicely landscaped. The pool and hot tub were clean. House keep were super nice and did a great weekend

There were no towels by the pool so you had to go to the front desk to get them before you swam. There was one front desk person who I think needs a vacation. He was not very nice. When I had to ask for things he acted very annoyed. The door lock was missing screws but did work. The pull out sofa very uncomfortable and they only had sheets and one blanket in the closet.

Clean and in a great location.

juice machine was broke- not many options for drinks.
