How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing, keep up the good work!
Breakfast was great! Lots of options and bacon! Hotel was very clean. Our room was clean, smelt good and very crisp looking. Staff was great! Pillows were great! Coffee maker would grind your coffee beans fresh, which was super nice! I say some of these simple things were great because we had stayed at three other hotels up north on our weeks long vacation and we’re not impressed at all with some of the other ones! This one may have cost a little extra, but it was well worth it!

I did not like that we were not given your bill when we checked out. The desk clerk said it would be emailed to us. It's now 9pm and no bill.
It had a lot of choices. But we were not impressed with the bacon,it was over cooked. The pan cakes were OK but need to cook a little longer.

Breakfast was good and had variety. Staff was exceptional. Friendly, helpful, and quick to please. Luggage carts were solid and easy to use. The motel and it's property was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the room was well equipped. The TV was a quality unit and the programming available was very good. My wife and I will stay there whenever we have to stay overnight in Antigo. We ended up staying an extra day just because we enjoyed our stay so much.

Absolutely nothing!! It was great!
Especially the dear lady at the reception desk! She was marvelous to us! She went out of her way to make sure we were welcomed and comfortable. The rooms were clean and well kept. The breakfast was very good!

The pillows were not my fav, but thats just me really. and pool was closed, but it looked very nice. I look forward to swimming next time!

I didn’t like that the fitness gym was under construction but the pool area was very nice
Unfortunately, our initial room had a leaking toilet but the staff was so great, kind and courteous and immediately had us move to a different room. Much appreciated!

The front staff sometimes made it seemed like we were bothering them if we needed something like tp.

The bowling alley across the street was a little loud but quieted down by 10 which I thought was reasonable. I was concerned that it would be unacceptable on Saturday night as well, which did not happen thankfully. But, it was a concern my first night which was a Friday. All in all, not much to complain about. Thanks!
Very clean and quiet at night. Although there were a lot of families, there was little disturbance to my stay. The breakfast was plentiful, tasty, and filled regularly (very plentiful and lots of choices.) Also the breakfast facilities were clean and well monitored for cleaning without disturbing guests. Great job by staff.

When I asked at the desk she told me nothing I can do about booking.com...

The tub did not have the correct stopper so baths were impossible . Toilet malfunctioned first night and then got to not at all working with zero water in tank . This essential amenity was a nightmare when not working . We had to go down three floors to use the lobby toilet for one evening overnight and morning . Bathroom overall Not clean . Black mold in tub and tile of shower and hair in toilet bottom . Yuk . The soap was empty .
Breakfast was excellent varied and hot . Fresh fruit was good too . Beds comfy. Room size large . Pool hot tub were warm.
