First time staying at a Holiday Inn and overall we loved it! The one thing I didn't was the location of the hotel...there are several hotels in the area and we saw driving in and then when we left that that there are lots of homeless people around this entire area. It breaks my heart and I know this is out of the hotel's control. It does however make the area look unsafe. There were no homeless people loitering around the Holiday Inn as I saw around other hotels though so that was good. Because of the homeless situation, I felt not seeing a visible staff in the front at night when we checked in was not good though. We only stayed for one night and we checked in at about 7:30pm. I saw a sign on door saying that doors would lock at 10pm and for guests to use key to get in after that time. I thought this was a safe thing to do. After checking in, we came in and out of the hotel and also where in the lobby for several reasons and I never again saw a hotel staff member up in the front (approximately 8-9:30pm) After leaving our luggage we came down to get a snack from hotel mini store and waiting around for front desk attendant and nothing. My husband ended up driving to a nearby gas station. There are several very close by so this is another plus. My kids also wanted to use the pool so we stopped by again to ask for towels and no one was up front. We went to use pool regardless and we asked another guest where she had picked up hotel towels. She said up front but that it had been earlier. She was nice enough to give us her extra towels. My husband and I were not using the pool so I went up to the front twice to ask for towels and nothing. During these times several people walked into the hotel. I was hoping everyone was a hotel guest and not just anyone off the streets. So this was from 8am-9:30 pm approximately.

1. Staff at breakfast and those cleaning rooms were super polite and attentive! Smiling and would initiate the "good mornings"! We travel a lot and the staff here was outstanding! 2. Great layout of room and bathroom...lots of storage areas! More lamps/lighting that I've seen at other hotels. Dove toiletries, even Dove handwash soap are a plus too! 3. Great breakfast options and very clean breakfast area! I'm the type that likes to pick up after my kids and will constantly get up and throw their thrash away but a staff member would come to me before I even had a chance to get up and would offer to throw our thrash away.

Location wasn’t the best. Kind of tucked off and not that have issues with the homeless but some looked like they could be up to no good.

Clean. Quiet. The breakfast was good. Room was big and comfortable. Just didn’t like how the a/c would cut on and then off….would get hot and started sweating.

The front desk staff needs further training. I travel quite often and I had to tell them how to do some billing, etc. it was frustrating, as a line of customers grew as they tried to figure things out. They were nice, just not well trained.

The property location was convenient; near way, gas stations, coffee shops and restaurants. The breakfast was above average; again the kitchen area was spotless.
