They need new luggage carts. The older ones they have are large and barely fit through the room doors.

It is a fabulous hotel and every bit the Holiday Inn Express quality. AND it is tightly squeezed in on its piece of property there on Woodward. Staff great.

The Exercise Room was very poor. Very very small with little equipment. Difficult to exercise with more than two people present.

The only thing from an ADA perspective. The shower wasn't wheel in, had a lid to get into and a pull down shelf on the far end from the shower. So, things got wet. We really needed a shower chair. I didn't ask - but maybe I should have in retrospect. Also, the door in very heavy to get out of the room - it's a simple fix, to loosen the screw on the door. It was very hard to get myself, my mothers walker and my mother in the wheel chair out of the door.

My expectations for a "holiday in express" were low. Much to our delight, the rooms were quite large, updated and very comfortable. My mother and I were in an ADA room - enough room for a wheelchair. The towlels were fluffy and the linens good quality. The breakfast was generous in a dining room with tables and booths. They had a water bottle filler with filter. They had a very small gym but we didn't care. The location was great - you could walk to the town with all the restaurants and shops. AND....the staff were great. I was going between my mother's and my husband's rooms and frequently mixed up the keys. Several times the staff had to give me another card.

Breakfast was quite basic, beds have spring mattresses that is sometimes a bit old, streaming from phone did not work and none told us (nor AirPlay nor ChromeCast)

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, when I complained about my bed, they offered a better room without hesitation, and that made me feel appreciated. Location is awesome.

Construction is a pain. The carpet on the balconies was a terrible choice - it was soaked the whole time I was there. Fire alarm went off on Tuesday morning and I never figured out why.

Location is perfect, I love being able to walk across the street to the park and restaurants. Jacquelin is my favorite housekeeper ever, very friendly person! I appreciate being able to grab sleepy time tea from downstairs at night - a lot of hotels close this area off after breakfast.

The building entrance is under renovation and the main entrance is temporary out of service. There is no way but to carry luggage up a few steps to the cart.

The TV was somewhat difficult to use in that the guide was problematic at times. Some times it wouldn't move or would only show the main 5 channels.

Despite the current remodeling, everything was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
