How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The sofa bed did not let out as it should because it seemed to have been broken. I was misled thinking the sleeping area would be separate from the lounging area.
The beds were comfortable and the breakfast bar had something for everyone.

The room microwave and refrigerator were below the countertop and controls were impossible to see and operate. Tub plug did not work so bath not available. Requested ground floor room and given room on third floor most distant from elevator
Location very close to where I needed Breakfast was ok but egg omelets just too much cheese. Staff cheerful

Although I appreciate that it was clean I have a sensitivity/allergy to fragrance and the entire hotel smelled like a bottle of bleach. It was way too intense. I would recommend using less bleach and cleaning products. Also, it was right by the highway, which I did not realize when I booked it. It was quite loud.
The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable. I like the modern style as well. And the breakfast was good

The 2 queen beds were actually 2 full beds. Breakfast would have been good if food was hot even warm.

The hotel lost our booking even though I had specific confirmation of the booking, as their system was showing the booking was cancelled, and they were argumentative of this fact at the time of check in. A room was organised for us (which we were grateful for) however it was at a higher rate than we originally booked for. Our booking was inexplicably split into two (two nights on one booking and one night on another) so we had to pay two security deposits, which just seemed unnecessary. The maid service changed our towels, but did not make the bed.

I didn't get the high floor room I requested and being approved by the hotel previously. Very slippery bathtub, my wife fell down and I was about to fell many times. They charged me for parking even in the information it says the parking is free. They have a very very very limited basic tv cable plan, no premium channels.

In the listing the parking cost should be noted … be upfront about the extra charge for parking in the listing. A couple of the breakfast equipment were unavailable because of being broken (pancake toaster and juice machine.)

I checked in and was greeted by a very nice woman. Check in was fast and easy. We checked out very early next morning and I wanted to pay with my debit card instead of credit card on file. The guy had no clue how to charge my debit card and basically told me I had to use the card on file. I asked him the total to which he said I think it’s and gave me a total. I was in a hurry to get on the road so I just paid and left. Overall was good but checking out was horrible

There wasn't any hand soap in the bathroom.

I didn't like the fact the room did not have a bathtub inside. It's a big part of my relaxation.
I had a great stay. A little pricey but it was somewhat worth it. But clean and they serve really good breakfast.

The hotel is right off the freeway, and it seemed like to get to any restaurants you needed to drive.
The room was comfortable and clean. One unusual feature I liked was the chaise instead of an armchair - it was much better for relaxing and reading.

Booking.com really secured up our reservation. When we got there they couldn't fine our reservation.. Luckily they had extra rooms. Trying to get ahold of anyone from Booking.com is impossible.
