I wasn't lucky upon check-in and was welcomed by a member of the staff who wasn't very helpful. She gave me the hotel brochure to figure it out. The room's furniture can seem outdated and not well cared for, i.e. the sofa while practical, has all its linen scratched and not very appealing. The color schema makes the room feel late-70s and not modern. This could use a bit of rework.

Very well located and connected through the bus line that stretches from the airport to Waikiki hotels. Thw Kuhio beach is 50m away and very practical for all water activities. Some of the staff are really helpful and caring. The facility has all amenities to make your stay comfortable, coffee and tea, a fridge in room. The in-house laundry is very practical. The bed is comfortable and I'd definitely recommend the rooms with Sea view. The air-conditioning is controllable and very comfortable, especially if you don't like sleeping in an igloo.

I stayed here for a week and I'll first start with the quality of the room. The room was cozy and comfortable, but you can tell they remodeled from the old design. When you remodel, whether that's a bathroom or carpeting, you should never be able to tell it was remodeled. Especially when it's your first time there. But the overall color scheme was decent. The bathroom was nice, but shower was a bit too high which is an accident waiting to happen. Make sure you close the balcony door for a.c. to work. If its not closed, it will be very humid and hot in the room. The balcony was cute. I don't like small balconies though. It's just a phobia of mine. The best part about this hotel was the everyday breakfast. I was in love with the miso soup. There's a huge Japanese population and tourist in honolulu, so it made sense to have it. The eggs and bacon were good. I also tried the HUGE pancakes at the mac restaurant. They were yummy. The lobby was beautiful. So was the spa. I didn't get a chance to try the pool or room service. My only complaint is to have a microwave present for guests. Especially for after hours when room service closes. And the 450 dollar hold.... just add it in the total price of the stay. It helps people budget better. The hotel is very close to the beach. You can see it from the balcony, at least from the room I was in. Everything is in walking distance.

Loaction was great. Staff were friendly. Pool area was nice. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. Rooms were ok but could do with some upgrades. On-site car rental is a big plus.

The renovations going on above us were disturbing as it started early and went through the day. The staff did address the issue when we mentioned it to them.

Location is 1 block off the beach. The pool on the 10th floor was clean and accommodated our needs with food and drinks.

Street noise is unbelievably loud. Saturday night sounded like car races were going on below. Luckily it calmed down around midnight. Hotel should upgrade windows to block noise. Would be nice to have gluten free bread available at breakfast.

Information desk for getting tour / shuttle not supportive and maybe they don’t know about other facilities to offer travelers I asked for outlet shuttle and they said it’s fully booked for next 3 days but in outlet website there is a shuttle that is very easy and convenient to use

the daily house cleaning has no fix schedule.. sometime early morning at 8 am sometime late in afternoon. If they knock and you decline they will not automatically come in and clean room on that day. So you have to call them daily to make sure they clean the room

We booked a sea view room, and whilst our room technically faced the sea it was on the fourth floor so you couldn’t see the sea. Also meant we were close to the road so it was quite noisy with traffic as well as some construction work going on

The location was great walking distance from the main street of Waikiki, hotel has been renovated room was lovely ocean view , bed was comfortable . The lifts were quick not long waiting time , as we have experienced elsewhere.

It was allgood. Only thing was entrance having to push pram up the ramp due to lift not working in entrance. Laundry wasn’t the best. Had to pay 3 times to dry one load.
