How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewGreat balcony ocean front view, full kitchen, comfortable beds, hot tub was nice to have as some hotels don’t, but it was located at kids pool, not that hot with very little pressure in jets. Lots of issues during our stays. After multiple requests with management we were pleased with the supervisor with how they tried to and address the issues we faces during outs stay restorinv our faith in Hilton and in their property . They were understanding and did their best to rectify our inconvenience.
Showers were terrible, water was cold/luke warm with only rain shower head, low pressure water. Horrible! …especially since it was windy and cold outside. We Needed a hot shower, my son’s lips were blue. Spent night texting manager or AI, no direct verbal Communication after complaints. All that we were told by manager to run the water 20 min or so, this caused stress and sucked up our time in the evenings with 4 people needing to shower. Hotel said this happens at maximum capacity and nothing they could do about it. Yet spending almost $800 a night! Not at all acceptable! Front desk some people are NOT welcoming or friendly, no eye contact, or smiles. Miserable employees and Rude attendants at the pool yelling and scaring young kids, ruining our time to relax. Hot tub should not be in kids area and should be in adult area. No waitress to get drinks. No communication skills by attendees . Lifeguards not paying attention or acting quickly enough, kid almost drowned in front of them.. It was crowded and loud at the pools and beach. At high tide ocean comes up to half of the beach. I had to move my chairs etc 5 times! Not relaxing at all! Disgusted with this trip for what I paid. If they know water pressure and temperature gets to almost cold at full capacity they should lower their prices not increase! I was told maintenance wasn’t available on the weekend which is why it couldn’t be fixed timely.

Over resorts had the parking space numbered by the room number. I had my grand kids with us and wanted to play in the game room and a number of the games were not working properly. pin ball the flippers didn't work and lost money in the grabber games.

Verified reviewWe arrived early and the staff allowed us to set up by the pool before our room was ready.
1. Parking is an additional fee (not included in the price of reservation; 2. We paid our bar tab every day and the charges still ended up on our room bill at the end of our stay, so we were charged twice for everything and had to spend a long time disputing the charges before leaving; 3. On check-out day, we found a used adult diaper under the bed and when we told the front desk, he said he would waive the parking fee and that was it. He didn’t offer Hilton points or a refund or anything. He let us park for free (which should have been free in the first place.) We used to love his hotel but won’t stay there again.

The carpet in room 704 was appalling. It was damp in places when we arrived. The air in the room felt perpetually moist. After 10min of walking around, our childrens socks were blackened. Literally, blackened. It made for a very uncomfortable stay knowing the carpeting was so dirty. Ive never seen anything like it at a hotel. My wife and I couldnt wait to leave because of that. To be fair, we've stayed here before and didn't notice this level of filth. I'm prepared to chalk it up to the previous guests. My parents stayed a couple door down and their room didnt seem to be in such a state at all. Despite this experience I would be willing to book here again with the assumption that this was a one-off experience. As I said, our previous stay was very pleasant and my folks had a lovely unit at the end of the building. It felt fresh and inviting. Room 701, I think.

The sliding glass door to the patio didn’t completely close. It had a very small crack in the door. It was difficult to open so it probably is rusted. Didn’t make a big impact but it was just something I noticed.

The pool area was overcrowded. The pool closes early and then there is no area to sit outside for evening/sunset.
