Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesOutdated decor. Basic and expensive dining options at their bar and restaurant in very cafeteria like ambiance. Pool was very small and not clean. Only enough seating for 10 people or so and no unmbrellas.
LOVED the proximity to Levi's stadium and the staff was wonderful. Other than that, it is a pretty run of the mill, nothing special hotel that is incredibly overpriced for what you get. Decor needs updating, bathrooms need updating, entire hotel needs updates. For $500 a night I expect a bit more luxury but I guess they're going to get it because it's close to the stadium. It was nice to have a short walk. THAT part I loved but not sure it was worth the expense and next time I will likely stay in a nicer hotel and drive or take a taxi/uber to stadium. It wasn't worth it to me.

United StatesI didn't like the $25 a day parking fee. It should be free to guest of the hotel. Our tub in room 533 had rust around it and didn't look clean, but was. Also, we had to pay for breakfast that we thought was complementary. We weren't expecting to pay $58 for 2 people. The sausage wasn't cooked all the way and I got sick.
I liked the location and distance to the venue we went to. It was close to stores and restaurants in the area. The view of Levi Stadium and Great America were nice. The staff were friendly, and room service was good.

United StatesOur room smelled like cigarettes this time. With the ongoing renovations it was dirty and kind of noisy but not too bad. The beds are also in need of being replaced. Saggy and not firm. It was muggy inside the room so we had to run the AC to help with that.
We love the friendly staff and the extremely convenient location to Great America. The pool and spa are nice after a long day and the gym is small but perfect to get in that easy workout. We also love the dinner menu - so good! Room was perfect usually nice queen size beds and view of the Stadium was a plus.

United StatesMy room had stains on the drapes and chair. Possibly blood or chocolate stains- hard to tell. The bathtub had dried blood in it. So gross- but possibly someone’s boogers. The fridge in the room was also not really cold at all so storing food in it was questionable. Luckily we didn’t have anything dairy or meat that needed very cold refrigeration but that would have been a concern if we did.
The location and cost was good. I enjoy the coffee bar in the lobby area that serves Starbucks and has nice pastry options. I also love the parking lot and that nothing was a hassle. The digital key is also super handy.

United StatesI don't like the added charge for parking. My refrigerator was humming at such a high pitch it kept me up the first night and made me nauseous all the next day, any time I was in the room. The water smelled like sulfur water. The ringing fridge was corrected but I shouldn't have to ask for these things at the rate being paid per night.
The rooms and the hotel looked and smelled clean. The staff was very friendly and so helpful, corrected an issue before I had to sleep in the room again.

United StatesI thought the mattress was a litte hard. We should have up graded to a bigger bed too, but didn't want to move. Liked the location of the room and hotel location. Didn't like the added charges of parking and insurance, was told I will get the insurance charges that back.

United StatesOn Sunday night the fire alarm went off in our room 2 times for over a minute each time. I called the front desk- they had nothing to say- told us to stay in our room. In the morning I was told that someone would check the batteries in the alarm. No accountability for the disruption 😟

CanadaOverall a dated hotel. If you aren't going to an event at the stadium the value for money isn't there. The hot tub and pool need a deep clean. Pillows were thin and uncomfortable. Food was average.
Great location if you are heading to the Levi's Stadium. Staff were friendly and beds were comfortable.
