The first room we were issued was 930. The room was a little worn and dingy. First off the refrigerator was not cooling properly. There was I guess a humidifier in the room, the air conditioner fan squeaked and the bathroom exhaust fan didn’t work. We were eventually moved to a better room.

The location was great. Lobby was spacious and clean.

My room was very dirty. My lamp shade in my room was very dirty, chair next to the bed had dirt spots all over it, & air vents were very dusty. My room needed some serious cleaning/updating.

The hotel was beautiful, I loved the different pools, hot tubs, and beach access. The wet whistle was amazing.

The rooms had a crazy humidity. Next day all my clothes were wet and usually a well working AC prevents that.

Our room did not get serviced once throughout our stay even though we asked multiple times. The pool staff were generally unhelpful (not harmful though).

The location, access to the other amenities on the Kingston Plantation property (waterpark at Embassy Suites/indoor pool) was nice. Great beach access. Front desk staff/shuttle staff were wonderful and the shuttle around the property and within a 2 mile radius was also a nice touch.

Wanted to have a quick lunch at Amalfi Cafe at 1:30, was told they closed at 2:30, suggested we might want to try the Tiki Bar outside because they’re always open. But only had 2 servers there and wait to order would be 30 min. So back toMezzanine to eat indoors at Amalfi. Couldn’t find a hostess (now it’s 1:40 pm) so I walked into the empty dining room until I found some people cleaning up a different dining area. Told the lady we just wanted a quick lunch and we’d be out of there by 2:30. She basically said no because they worked overtime the day before and they were all going to leave today at 2:30…which she kept repeating. This is not how you run a restaurant! My party of 3 left and ate off site.

The elevators were broken on our entire stay. We had to use the stairs while being on the 7th floor.

It was clean and we didn't have to go far for entertainment.

The bathroom needed to be painted. The exterior door threshold allowed cold air to enter the room.

The hot water to our room was not reliable. We washed our hands and it was hot but then when we got ready to shower it was cold. Someone came to fix it right away and then it went out again later that night. Then it came back on the next day and went out again that night! It was aggravating!

I couldn't use the luggage rack without the staff getting it for me which meant tipping! I didn’t like that. So I walked the my luggage to my room. Why do they charge $13.99 per day for parking was ridiculous! I feel I was being nickeled and dimed. Alittle disappointed. Nice room but it didn’t have a microwave just a mini frig. The water pressure in the bathroom sink was low so had to run it longer for use. Lastly there was a rattling from the the vent due to the heater being turned on that was annoying. I didn’t complain to staff because I was so tired and wasn’t going to be in the room very long.

The hotel staff was very friendly.
