Two things, you have to pay extra for parking as a rate of $12 a day, really! Second, you have to go to the hotel next door for the breakfast buffet.

the bathroom floor was pretty gross honestly, and the carpet in the rooms needs to be replaces, as well as updated, as the room felt very dark, due to low lighting. The lighting in the bathroom is too dark as well, so the rooms definitely need an update in order to feel welcoming and fresh. I don't feel like we should have to pay to park at the hotel, as there isn't covered or secure parking at all, so not sure why we were charged for nothing extra regarding parking. I also don't understand the "transient fee" charged each day.

But 107 was across the elevators so conversations til late evenings. Also strong cooking smells. I did request change of rms and everyone was pleasant about it.

Not applicable for breakfast. Like how rm 107 modern with no rug looked clean as well as design.

Everything was an extra charge to the point it was crazy. They had one regular coffee pod in our room and there were 2 people and we asked for additional pods they wanted to charge us 2 dollars per coffee pod so no free coffee in the room. Parking in a regular parking lot that had warnings that tree sap could get on your car they wanted to charge 12 dollars a night. There was no where else to park so they are playing bait and switch with pricing.

For the most part my stay was great

I didn't like that I informed the young lady that I was handicap, and was using the park for handicap and she said she would dismiss the charge upon checking out I learned she hadn't done so.

Their website said free breakfast but it was not offered at the site. The Hot tub was broken. The rooms were a tight fit

I prefer clean vinyl or wood floors in rooms but this room had carpet which made it seem outdated.

Friendly staff, beet salad in the restaurant was good and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The hotel was close to the hospital where my husband was a patient. I had a good stay at this hotel.

The room was great until I took a shower and the provided shower gel bottle installed in the shower was empty. Luckily I had bright my own…but if I hadn’t that would not have been great.

Wasn't aware that I would be charged for parking. This location is not downtown and has ample parking

The location is central for my needs. I had trouble with the room coffee maker and the issue was resolved immediately Room is very clean and comfortable Shower had excellent pressure and water was hot. i liked the new larger bottles for shampoo/conditioner etc. You can use the amount you need versus the individual bottles - I have long hair and they never held enough conditioner

Breakfast was delicious, and my salad for lunch was also great. BTW, I think the front desk service is very good. I want to stay in the same room for an extra night, but they finally helped me reach an agreement. I am very appreciated their effort.

No recycling bin in our room or in the lobby (nor at breakfast). A heavier blanket would be nice.

Beautiful little hotel with on site restaurant. Letting us access the adjacent hotel's breakfast buffet due to ongoing renos was a huge bonus. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and pool. Great location for visiting Torrey Pines.
