The hotel staff addressed any concerns we had.

A package was sent while we were away from the hotel and the front desk offered to place the package in the room for us so it would be there when we returned.

There could have been a little more variety in the breakfast. One thing worth noting is that if you leave any personal items on the bed, the housekeeping staff will not clean that bed. That's their hotel policy. They say that they are not allowed to touch anything personal. Finally, the hotel is located in downtown; however, it's better not to venture out after sunset because of a significant number of homeless persons and drug addicts around.

The breakfast cost $ 12 plus tax. It was basic, but it was not bad either.

We had reservations but my first and last name were flipped and although I showed the man at the check-in desk my confirmation number he told me that I did not have a reservation and offered no remedy to my situation. He did not offer to even look to see that a room would be available anyway. About 20 minutes later as I was sitting in my rental car parked in front of the hotel trying to arrange for an alternative lodging, he reappeared outside next to the car instructing me to come back into the hotel. He then explained that my name had been entered into his computer with the first and last names flipped. I was amazed that a computer savvy gen Z'er could have been so lacking in intellectual resources to figure out my problem. He seemed totally unconcerned about my situation.

Physically, a very nice and clean hotel with a convenient location downtown. Free covered parking across the street.

My steak dinner was no better than I could have made on my own bbq at home. Not bad; just bland. The kitchen appeared to use frozen French fries instead of fresh cut. They weren’t cooked all the way through. Coffee was lukewarm. Donuts and croissants were stale. At times it was difficult to discern staff from patrons as they were dressed extremely casually.

I've been to far less expensive hotels that provided a nicer breakfast. Charging $12.50 for a buffet breakfast is ludicrous. You should have at least had toast available for free.

I had booked a king size bed (deluxe) and by the time I checked in, the room was given away. The manager reduced the price of the room (without me asking) and gave us free breakfast vouchers).

There was a mix-up at check-in that disrupted our plans for the day. It may have been an honest mistake, but it left us scrambling once we received the correct information the following day. We were originally told that breakfast and checkout were later than they actually were, which caused us to miss breakfast and rush to pack and leave. They offered us some leftover breakfast food which was subpar but we were grateful that they at least were willing to accommodate as much as possible given the mix-up.

Lighting was not perfect. Nice to have bedside lights but the overhead light and the tall lamp didn't work in my opinion. One too bright and the other not bright enough, adequate but not balanced. Warmer 3-way light by the TV would be good and an overhead light that is LED soft/daylight would be best. The table at the couch could have been a little larger, and easier to move. Undecided about the "desk" area behind the bed. Two chairs there would make it a decent place to eat, but it was adequate space for holding various things. More hooks needed in the bathroom. Husband wanted to swim on Sunday morning but the pool was closed for cleaning.

Breakfast was very, very good and plentiful. Room layout was different than the typical ones, which made it feel cozier. Staff was excellent in everything they did! Bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have a TV corner and couch area. Everything was clean and nice to have coffeemaker, microwave and nice sized refrigerator on hand. Closet with hanging space, long mirror and drawers/shelves was convenient and practical in its layout.

The only thing I did not like is that I could not connect the WiFi to my Roku or Firestick. The cable and live TV was not my cup of tea.

Clean, house keeping very friendly. Receptionists were courteous and very helpful. The coffee in the room tastes great. The chicken wings at the bar are the best.

Although the range of breakfast foods was good, too often during our stay no plates/dishes, coffee cups were available and staff not on hand to ask. Fruit bowl not refilled later on. Some staff attentive, others less so. We didn’t eat evening dinner in the hotel as the restaurant did not look inviting. No coffee/ water available in the foyer as was available in our stay at Hilton Hampton Inn and Suites. This was disappointing and earns the hotel a 7 rating from us.

Close to amenities and rail station, room very clean and airy, housekeeping excellent, front of house staff/reception staff helpful, particularly Nicholas with his help on check-in.
