I felt like there should have been a complimentary breakfast and thought it was, we had to go offsite for meals, the restaurant attached was expensive for the selection.

It was clean, staff was very friendly and accommodating, it was located conveniently to UAB and was very easy to get in and out of. I felt safe and secure as there was an event going on and staff took extra security measures to insure guests safety.

parking was a little chaotic, and entering the building. It was very loud, and confusing as to where or which hotel to check into... they have a combined reception area.

Very close to UAB- perfect for the night before our daughter's surgery. Friendly staff. Quiet and clean room. Great location.

I was double charge for my stay and I’m still trying to get my refund. If I didn’t look at my bank acct I would have never known.

It was very close to the concert we were going too so we were able to have drinks and then walk back to our hotel.

The Wi-Fi was horrible. Kept kicking us off, even in the lobby area. It was not accessible on the 5th floor. The second issue was ants in our room. If the ants are on the 5th floor that tells me the problem is widespread. Both of these issues can be corrected.

The staff were great. Food, bar and the availability of a breakfast buffet were a nice feature. Location was great and we felt safe.

There was a liquor bottle behind the curtain that a 5 year old found. For me the beds were very hard causing pressure point issues. For the rest of the people with me the beds were great.

Way too expensive, everything, including the food was costly, felt like “ Resort” pricing, there’s nothing about downtown Birmingham that feels like a Resort. And, paying to park certainly doesn’t feel like southern hospitality.

Keep a small pamphlet in the room with instructions on the use of the TV and AC. I miss the days when there was an abundance of helpful information in the rooms.

Had pancakes and bacon. Got my own coffee from the table. Did not eat dinner at the hotel. Went to a local restaurant. The room had no written material. I had to figure out how to use the TV which was easy but never did figure out how to adjust the thermostat. Had to request a hair dryer and it was a new one. The room I was given was not the one booked but I was told that room was overbooked. This was the last room on my end of the floor. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I chose the hotel as it was next door to the Red Mountain Theater where I was attending a special function. I did not need the attractions as I live in Birmingham.

The refrigerator was iced over and overheating. In the small cabinet it was in I was surprised it did not catch on fire. I know a little about refrigeration. One of the matters in our room had h loud squeak every time I rolled over. Room 423. I did not like that the employees would come out of a door by the pool and smoke.

    Very clean and good security
