Was on a road that was basically closed for construction. getting in was easy, leaving was more difficult and had to get directions from one of the construction workers. Obviously not the property owners fault, but google was not very accurate on this. Front desk closes at 9pm, which I didn't notice until I got to the door at 8:50

there was a very disturbing guest that was making me very uncomfortable and threatening and was invading my area constantly and calling us names and wearing very inappropriate attire.. the cops were called several times and did nothing to resolve the issue.

Went to take a shower in the morning and there was no hot water. Had to wait a few hours for it to warm back up. It's a very old and outdated building. Too many people showering at the same time I'm assuming.

The room is small, but since we only stayed for one night, that wasn’t a huge issue.

The owner was so accommodating! We had leftovers to heat up and he loaned us their personal cutlery. He was so kind. We only stayed for one night, but it served its purpose. They have been over backwards to make the room as comfortable as they can. It’s clean and the bed is comfortable. They have no problem with pets.

The bed was very comfortable. Plenty of pillows! Great to have big fridge and a microwave. Manager/owner very friendly. Room was clean. Was only there 2 nights - requested no room service- so can’t rate that.

I was a bit hesitant about possible truckers, etc. staying at the motel. i.e. parties, noise, etc. I was wrong! It was a very quiet place to stay with friendly staff and visiting guests from different states.

I am a past resident of Fairmont and am familiar with the demographics, etc. Highland Court Motel has at times been a rather distant motel for truckers, construction workers, etc. But through word of mouth from my daughter who lives in Fairmont, she said you had done some nice renovations and the motel was under new management. With having a puppy as my companion, the $10 fee was awesome (vs. $50 or not allowing pets at all). It was SO much easier to lift, carry, etc. with the car right at my front door. No elevators, walking long distances, etc. I will most certainly stay here again soon! Thank you! Kathy

Unusual that you have to ask at the front desk, if you want a coffee maker and they hand you one in a plastic bag. Room was a little on the small side and the bathroom has a pedestal sink, so no counter space. There was a cigarette burn in the bed spread, so it should have been replaced.

This motel is a little ways from the business area of Fairmont, but offers very good value compared to the chain hotels closer to the city. The room was very satisfactory for a one night stopover. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Showers were hot.

The TP holder in the bathroom was mounted pretty close to the toilet making it a bit cramped. The room could also benefit from an exhaust fan to keep the humidity from the shower from impacting the whole room. Otherwise it was great!

The motel was clean and quiet. I was in town for a disc golf tournament and needed a place mostly just to sleep and get cleaned up between days. This location included a large mini fridge and microwave which was excellent for keeping my stuff cold without going through a bunch of ice. The room I had (19) had a paris theme and was simple but nice for the price. It felt like staying in a friend’s spare room with an en-suite. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed 3 nights at the property I paid in advance through Booking. When I arrived at the property, they confirmed my reservation but stated they had no record of my payment. So I had to pay for the three nights again, an additional $300.00 plus. I sent an inquiry to Booking about my payment and was promised an answer within 24 hours. It has now been 48 hours, and I've had no response To be fair, I use booking often. This is the only troublesome I have encountered to date. I have just booked another prepaid night with Booking. Hopefully, this will not be such an error.

The owners were very nice. The rooms and grounds were neat and clean.
