I think this place is best suited for one - or two who are sharing the bed. My daughter last time found the couch not that comfortable, as well as no privacy due to this being an open studio layout.

This is my second stay at Hidden Zen. The accommodations are spacious, comfortable, and clean. The small kitchen has everything you need and I love the garden view from the windows. I was travelling to visit my student at Reed College, so you can't beat this location!

My fault I didn't read the fine print, but I expected to park in the driveway and not the street. Not a problem. Just a matter of expectations.

Perfect place for me. I loved it and hesitate to speak too highly of it (which it deserves), because I want it to be available the next time I come.

The check-in process on vacasa was horrible - I almost canceled. It took two phone calls and several email for verification and set up.

I liked everything about it except parking. I have a nice car and would have preferred the driveway v. the street.

We have travelled a lot, and stayed in many lodging venues, from family and friends, to all ends of the spectrum of hotels, getaways, specialty spots, Air B&Bs, and the like, and as well, have dealt with many manag companies and personnel. The Hidden Zen was 5 Star Classy, and so well appointed, presented, and provided with all possible needs, it, as well as Vacasa, was par execelence. The home owners, Stuart and Connie,I believe, seemed most gracious and accommodating. On our next visit to the area, I do not think we would seek out any other accommodations other than Vacasa and Hidden Zen. Thank you all for all you ptmrovided, and you help and kindness. It’s not that I didn’t like it but people should know there is a flight of stairs to go down. Not an issue for me at all.

There is not much sun shine from the window, but I don't think it's a big problem to me.

The place is so cozy and clean. All cooking equipments are provided, all bathroom stuffs are provided. They even provided cotton swab! So considerate. The gas fireplace is a huge plus. I really like it.

Hard to sleep on couch and also with such proximity to the bed (a little hard to get in and out of bed) if people snore or for privacy.

Because the room is located in the basement there is not much daylight. This gives a less good feeling. The machines in the kitchen ea. fridge / dishwasher make lots noice when on. This interrupt during sleeping. The toaster is poor. But works ones you know how to handel.

Clean and fresh room, heating and ventilation works perfect. Very nice area / location, Kitchen full equipped, outside terras is a good benefit. Bathroom shower is perfect. Soap and towels more than needed.

It was clean, comfortable with any amenity I might’ve needed. The neighborhood is gorgeous and there’s wonderful walking. I was there in the spring when all the flowers were out so I was particularly beautiful.

Very clean, and well stocked kitchen. Exellent location, close to the park and Reed college. The neighbourhood is quiet, safe, walking around is enjoyable. The host is generous, sharing the little and beautiful garden where we read book, drank tea, wine, chatted. Very unforgetable place to stay a couple of days.
