My only suggestion is to have a microwave in the rooms.

This place is absolutely stunning! It has two beautiful pools with a lazy river, an arcade, and amazing restaurants, truly a resort experience. The staff is friendly and incredibly helpful. It has definitely become our go-to vacation spot in Destin.

There was absolutely nothing not to like!

Everything! From the moment we stepped inside to the moment we left… It was a five star resort… The staff, the amenities, the hotel, rooms, the pools, the lazy river, the Starbucks coffee throughout the resort, and I have to mention the staff again! Just a superb amazing resort and we cannot wait to return!!

The only problem we had was when we came back one evening to discover a leak in our room ceiling with the plaster falling off. However, the staff were swift and helpful with changing our room and compensating us for the two days it affected our stay.

No mini fridge in the room. Just a "cooler" so drinks, etc. weren't cold and there was nowhere to store perishables.

Location is great. Hotel is beautiful! Staff is exceptional. It is a bit pricey, but probably on par with other resorts in the area. Overall just a great week. Big shout out to the valets who are on top of their game. Top notch! Loved the Starbucks room on each floor. Very convenient 24/7 access. Would be a great place for a microwave.

Price! Shouldn’t have to pay for beach chairs and umbrella. If you are paying a resort fee. Or even if it was a bit cheaper.

Everything. I have stayed at the Henderson many times and I leave there feeling better and better after each stay. The staff is always exquisite. Their customer service and attention to detail are second to none. The room we stayed in was immaculate. The hotel speaks for itself. The Primrose restaurant is in a class all by itself. The food there is phenomenal. Our server Raged, one of the best customer service people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. We’ve had him on several occasions since we’ve stayed there. He makes you feel welcome and at home. Hands down, the Henderson is in the top 2 of best resorts I have ever stayed in. I’m 51 years old and I’ve been all around the world.

I didn’t like that I got charged extra for beach chairs as it was the hotel’s private beach. Also I was talked into an “upgrade” room but had to pay more for it and I think the other would’ve been just as nice. Felt slightly nickel and dimed by these things.

First day of arrival someone knocked, rang bell , and entered my room ( all within seconds) while I was changing my clothes. The male staffer apologized several times and said he was there to manage the thermostat but left once and never returned to the best of my knowledge. The staffer did not give me enough time to get to door before he opened it.

I have no negatives other than I wish it were a bit more affordable, as incidentals, such as parking, beach chair service and resort taxes due add up. That said, no surprises, and truly is a treat to stay here .

Henderson Beach resort is fabulous! Location and quality of facilities are outstanding. Access to a beautiful beachfront, fabulous, swimming pools, and a host of other amenities are all available. The staff is super helpful and very positive. Everything needed is available on the compound, although it is fun to venture out for other dining experiences. Highly recommended if one can afford this as a special treat!
