We had the king bedroom with detached bath. Wasn't a problem for our two nights, but it could be a problem for some.

Beautiful and historic home conveniently located to everything! So well appointed...cozy but updated. Food was delicious! Highly recommend!

Every day we were delighted with homemade breakfasts and afternoon teas that included freshly baked cookies and treats created by the in-house chef!! The presentation and variety of the food was amazing. Our room was beautifully decorated and the bed and pillows rivaled a 5 star hotel. This was the best b&b experience I have ever had.

Nothing, everything was great. I could see how in the busy season parking would be extremely tight.

Heartside Inn is a great B&B, was given the choice between savory and sweet meal options and food sensitivities were taken into account. There's also a lovely tea time snack and coffee/tea throughout the day. I stayed in the room on the main floor with a nice jacuzzi tub and small private porch. My innkeeper Julianne was great for finding fun things to do and providing options. I would stay again! Bed was comfy, water was hot, and I could not hear others moving about the house or on the street.

Great location (you can walk to all the shops & restaurants), clean comfortable and cozy. Staff were very lovely and the breakfast was off the scale delicious. Easy parking outside terrific WiFi, nice touch of afternoon tea and sweets whenever you fancied them too. We only booked one night, but extended our stay.

VERY limited on-site parking but they make it work.

Breakfast was delicious. They have a sweet or a savory option each day. We switched plates halfway thru so we wouldn't have to choose just one. Cookies and baked goods available in the breakfast area as snacks and were wonderful.

Totally my mistake for not understanding detached bathroom which was down the hall. It was private for just our room so not a huge deal and I don’t get up in the night but my hubby wouldn’t have been pleased if he had been on this trip and my bestie wasn’t thrilled but made do.

Beautiful space, terrific staff, and comfortable. I never sleep well traveling EXCEPT here, the bed was so comfy! Food was good and it’s close to Bar Harbor shopping.

The Hearthside Inn exceeded our expectations! The house is beautifully decorated and so warm and inviting! Our room waa so cute, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely AMAZING as well as the mid-day treats!! The staff was very friendly and Katherine was so helpful and kind. Location was perfect and super convenient to easily walk to area shops and restaurants. We highly recommend staying at The Hearthside Inn, I wish we could have stayed longer!

The Hearthside was the perfect choice for our 4 day stay near Acadia! The host Juliana, and all of her staff were warm, welcoming and absolutely dedicated to everyone's needs and comfort. The sweet or savory breakfast options were delicious, filling and made with wonderful (what seemed like local) ingredients. There were baked snacks and some drinks available throughout the day as well. The Common areas and our room was immaculate and the mattress and bedding were so comfy. Plus as a bonus, our bathroom had been recently renovated. The location was perfect! Located on a quiet side street but just a few minutes walk to all of the shops, restaurants and the beautiful harbor and activities. We even picked up our Acadia tour bus and bike rentals just a few blocks away. The restaurants in town were excellent. Recommendations: —Walk the sandbar at low tide to Bar Island and walk the inland island trail. —Take the Classic 2.5 hr Acadia tour with Acadia national Park Tours, to get the history of the park and area and this also takes you to the top of the mountain. —4 hour E-Bike rental was a highlight for us, riding on the many miles of graveled carriage roads throughout the park. —Our best dinner was the stuffed pork chop at Galyn's on Main Street. Also had Squash cakes which were nice. I'd also recommend for gin and tonic drinkers to order yours with Cold River Gin (made in Maine). It is a botanical Gin and was amazing!! Thanks Juliana for a great stay!

Hearthside Inn is a quick walk away from downtown Bar Harbor so the location is very convenient! They offer a wonderful breakfast with a sweet and savory option each morning and tea with a sweet treat each afternoon. Everyone was very welcoming and we wanted for nothing during our stay!
