Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesStaff wasn't overly friendly/welcoming but that was fine - we were only there for one night and enjoyed our stay.
This was a nice hotel - clean, comfortable, easy drive to downtown Knoxville (~ 10 minutes) and far less expensive than the downtown hotels. Parking was easy, breakfast was included, we would stay again.

United StatesAlthough the room was spacious, other than the chairs at the breakfast bar, there was no where to sit. Maybe have the house cleaning people check the dispensers in the bathroom. Two of ours were empty.
The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was pretty darn good.

United StatesThe pool water was so cold during the day so we went back that evening and it was much better, we were bonding with other guests too, then the front desk man came and made us get out at 10. I just thought it would've been nice if he'd allowed us to stay longer since we were all mature adults
I'd really prefer breakfast hours till 11

United StatesWhen we walked into our room I wanted to run. The smell blew us away. We wanted to leave that minute but didn’t want to lose our money since it was paid for. A very, very strong cleaner that was not a pleasant smell or it was covering a not so pleasant smell. I’m allergic to most odors so I didn’t think I’d be able to breathe but my allergy meds helped. Humidity was so high even with air on as low as we could. The bed was bumpy, the coverlet top blanket material was so picked and thin. I will say it looked clean which is the only reason we were able to stay. The LVP was sticky (cleaner we believe) so we never took our shoes off. The only other complaint was I wish they had told us the time for breakfast when we checked in or what was available for us like coffee/tea. We saw it as we walked to the elevator so we assumed it was free. There was no mention of breakfast time and we missed breakfast the first day.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Bathroom was clean.

New ZealandExtremely frustrating. The listing shows a full kitchen, but there’s nothing provided to actually use it — no utensils, no cutlery, no plates, no pots, nothing. It made the space completely unusable and feels very misleading based on the photos. If you're going to include a kitchen, at least provide the basics. Otherwise, be upfront so guests can plan accordingly.
The bed was great and the staff friendly

United StatesThey charged the card I had on file to HOLD the room. I requested to pay at the property with another card. The card on file was charged before I got there! It overdrew my account! That was a huge inconvenience!! The property has three hotels in one: From the street you see Red roof Inn! Then you have to drive into the parking lot to see the Laquita hooked to the other side! Then the Hawthorn extended stay(which was where I had reservations) was bearly able to be seen at the very end!! I drove around the property and could not see it. Then I finally called in and they told me to come to the Laquita!! People should be told these things before coming there!! The elevator made a loud scary noise! I thought I was going to get stuck in it!!
It was clean. The breakfast was pleasant.
