Due to our last minute planning, the price was higher than I wanted to pay. However, it was a lovely experience and worth the cost. Also, considering the current economy, I'm sure the cost is in keeping with the services provided

The bed and breakfast was so lovely. Our room and private bathroom were suite sized and very comfortabe. The set-up and decor was exceptional, and the owner was very personable. Although it is close to an elevated train, we didn't hear it. After a good night's sleep, we enjoyed a great breakfast and pleasant conversation in the common area.

I honestly can’t think of one thing I didn’t like.

I loved everything about this place. The ambience in the main areas and kitchen were elegant and relaxing. The room was spacious. The bed and chaise lounge were extremely comfortable!

It was extremely hot over night it got up to 76 on the second floor and we had to run loud fans, my husband had a severe allergy attack that the heat worsened, couldn't enjoy a hot bath because it was to hot inside and when we said something the next day they said they could have drug air units in our room in the middle of the night or opened windows(I had no idea the windows actually worked as the do not in most places for safety reasons)either way you go that is not relaxing. On the way to Chicago they called and said they were expecting tornado weather did not offer a refund so we kept driving only to arrive and find out everyone else got to cancel or reschedule I would have loved to cancel because the weather was bad but we were not offered that option and the website had said our reservations were nonrefundable so who knew!? This was the one and only time we will ever stay at a bed and breakfast. She did offer us $90.00 back out of the almost $400 we spent I do feel like it should have been a full refund since we didn't sleep hardly at all before our 6 hour drive home. Definitely not worth the money to stay here... Tiles we're loose and woobly all over the not enclosed bathroom floor, grout was missing in numerous spots,there is not a wall to separate the bathroom so no actual privacy, and the toilet needs pulled and reset as it also wobbles around.

The bed and breakfast was very very clean and honestly that's the only thing I liked
