How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The breakfast was so-so. Would have liked to have had meat (bacon or sausage) with the scrambled eggs or the waffles. Yogurt would have been nice to have also.
The comfort of the bed was excellent. The Mgr on duty was Colin and was a tremendous help with signing onto your internet. The breakfast employees were helpful keeping up with replenishing the entree foods. The location was nice due to the short distance off I-75.

The hot breakfast items are okay, but for those that stay often at Hilton hotels, I think the menu items need to be refreshed.
Room was recently renovated, so it was very nice

The gym and laundry room were being renovated. I called a week before to make sure the hotel had these facilities. Also bathroom had hair in it when we first arrived along with a dead roach.

The breakfast selection wasn't the best. We stayed at a Hampton Inn in Milwaukee and their breakfast looked more appealing.

Walk-in shower was too small, like the size I would find in an RV. Hotel double-charged my card and I had to go through a dispute process with my bank because no one at the hotel could fix it.
Room was very nice, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good.

Mini fridge was so cold it froze everything & exploded an energy drink, ceiling in bathroom was peeling & pieces were falling. Only two tiny trash cans. Breakfast was terrible

There was a spa/whirlpool in the bathroom. A little strange but I was told about it.
Location (for us) was excellent. Staff was nice and breakfast was very good.

My money and notebook were stolen even though I had left a sign at the door for nobody to go to my room. The money (100 hundred dollars was in the notebook) The management claimed that they would look at the video and get back to me but I have yet to hear from them)

We had to be moved into another room due to pet hair around the beds and human hair found in the bed. The refrigerator had spilled milk on the shelf and the pantry had a box chicken nuggets on the shelf.
Breakfast was great. My grandson loved the waffles

I did not like that the sheets were dirty. I did not like that the vending machines for drinks were removed. I seen the store by the check in desk but it was over priced.
The breakfast was good. Great location. Next to restaurants and shopping center.

The room could be a little larger, and the bathroom door is awkward for someone in a wheelchair, as it must be closed to pass. (Consider a barndoor style instead.)
We loved the roll-in shower, which is possibly the best we've encountered. The bed was a good height for someone with mobility issues (High mattresses/platforms are VERY difficult to get onto.) The staff was super friendly, kind, and helpful.

The charge for dog. Our dog is only 8 lb I understand if it was a large. They should charge according to size and how long stay. We came in so late basically to sleep.

In the breakfast area there is very little space, the breakfast was finished very quickly and the employee said that it would take 10 or 15 minutes to put more breakfast back.
