When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The matrass was quite hard for all of us but ok for 1 night. The breakfast could have had a bit more options eg cheese, meat cuts, boiled eggs
We were on travel through to a next location, but liked that the hotel was close to major highway, restaurants for our stopover. Staff was friendly, hotel was quiet, rooms were spaceous.

The complementary breakfast was bad. Eggs were watery, bagel topper was rubbery, toaster barely toasted 9am and most of the bakery goods were gone

I did not like the refillable bottles for shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. I feel anyone could tamper with those, and we did not use the product. I would much rather have the little bottles that are sealed.The trash cans in the room were so small it was a bit annoying. The breakfast could have been a little better, and maybe have some sausage or bacon no meat was offered at all. The waffle maker was so small, and the line for it was crazy. Maybe they should add a second waffle maker.
The room was very nice and everything was very clean. They allowed us an early check-in, and the whole process was very easy. Coffee was good for hotel coffee and offered all day till late evening and was always filled and fresh. The pool was nice. The staff was great, very friendly and courteous. Tv channels were few, but they did have showtime. The location was perfect and close to all the activities we went to do in Scranton. Overall, I was very satisfied and would stay at Hampton Inn Scranton again.

The bathroom was dated, there were needed repairs to some of the drywall.
Location was good, and convenient to shopping and food.

The food choices were not kid friendly need bacon .
I loved the location wish you had a game room for kids . My grandson slipped in the pool hurt his leg. Maybe you want to put non slip stops on the pool edges.

The only reason I did not give the stay a 10 is because there was lots of noise from other guests when it seriously should have been quiet. In particular the folks in the room next door decided it was a good idea to play rap music at 1:30am into the wee hours of the morning waking my husband and I from sound sleep. I don’t know how the front desk didn’t hear this as we were not a few doors down. That part ruined what could have been a nicer stay.
This property is easily accessible off Route 81. Pets are welcome, and there is a sidewalk across from the parking lot where you can safely walk your pet. The mattress was comfortable, breakfast plentiful, and staff were welcoming and friendly.

There was an odor in the room. It seemed to be covered up by bleach We have mild allergies...and upon checking out was told that the first floor allowed dogs. We felt that folks should be advised that there are dogs allowed in some rooms. We did not hear them barking...it was quiet.
