How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I dropped my whole family off to check in while I returned the rental. I booked 3 rooms for 5 people. The front desk only allowed my family to get 2 of the rooms. My husband had to wait to settle in until I returned to get the last room. Just annoyed after a long day of travel.
The breakfast was surprisingly wonderful. The eggs were very good.

No on sight restaurant for dinner, duvet on the bed that was too heavy.

The breakfast bar could have been kept stocked a little better - but it was still great as always.
Quiet even though the property was busy. Staff communicated well. Well cared for inside and out. Great location.

I wish it had more close by food options near by the hotel. Overall, it was good for a nights rest.
Great one night or two night spot near the airport and public transportation. Overall my stay was enjoyable. I would stay here again if I travel to Portland or need a layaway hotel.

The noise levels from the planes was very loud. Would have expected the hotel to be better sound proofed. The earplugs provided were of little help.
Clean and convenient. Shuttle driver was very nice.

Nothing to dislike
This has all of the features you expect from Hampton Inn, but they go over and above. There was food available before the published 5:30 start time for breakfast, which was great for our early flight. Shuttle to airport was free. The main plus was how kind the people were to us at the front desk. Just wonderful.

Extra Towels would be nice but at this point I am nitpicking.
The room itself was great, good entertainment and the bed was extra comfortable and the cleanliness overall was excellent. The bath was excellent and the toiletries provided was of good quality. If they could have provided small supplementary toothbrushes and paste it would have been better.

Breakfast could have been better.
Great clean hotel close to Portland airport, my room faced the runway but little noise could be heard from aircraft taking off and landing. Breakfast was provided and free parking.

Did not have much time to evaluate every aspect of the location. However, everything that we utilized went as expected.
We enjoyed our short stay. It was 1 overnight stay prior to departure from the airport. The location worked out really well for us for an extra early flight out. Thanks for being where you are,

Handicap parking was WAYYYY too far from the door we were told to enter at the back of the building. What a crazy thing.... move those spots by the door for ADA folks!!
Breakfast was okay. More fruit and easier to use waffle machine would be appreciated.

I wish the complimentary breakfast had some vegan options, or ingredient labels so I could double check what was in each option.
First, I appreciate that parking is easily accessible and free. Then when you enter the lobby they have a complimentary coffee/tea area for you! The rooms are clean and spacious with lots of counter space and sitting options (I had a single king bed, couch, and desk area). The air conditioner can be adjusted, which is a big deal for me since I need a cooler space to sleep. I did not explore the pool area at all, but the gym looked nice and they offered free breakfast.

Our flight was delayed from east coast so we didn’t arrive until 2am. I tried calling hotel 2 times to get the shuttle to pick us up but no one answered. I had to find someone from airport to call for us.
It was clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. The room was a great size.

Convenient to our conference, which was next-door. The staff is incredibly, genuinely friendly. The accommodations were perfect.
