Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. United StatesI was only there for one overnight, so don't take this to heart, but the waffle maker out of sorts was not great. My partner lives out of hotels year-round with his job, and continental breakfasts get old. However, he can always enjoy a waffle. The staff did good with finding a work-around, but ultimately, one of three of us didn't get the warm and fuzzies.
Booking through the app was super fast and easy. When we arrived late into the night, the staff was very welcoming and funny! Even check-out was a breeze with paperless invoicing and, again, very friendly staff. Customer service is very important to me as I'm evaluated on it quarterly, so experiencing great customer service is so refreshing. I only stopped in for a night, so I can't judge the facilities fully, but from my one night stay, I greatly enjoyed the warm bed, hot shower, and hot breakfast with coffee!

United StatesBooking.com offered me the rate of 171, including taxes. Two days prior to our stay, I called Hampton Inn, because I found our room for a rate of 111 (124 including taxes) on Expedia. Hampton Inn said that they couldn't give me the lower rate unless I canceled Booking and went with Expedia. They said 171 was the rate they offered everyone for our chosen room. No deal at all from Booking.com! So, I went to cancel the Booking reservation and it had become non-refundable. If I had booked with Hampton Inn directly, I could have canceled until the day of our stay. So, for no savings at all, I am out $47, thanks to Booking.com. I am very disappointed, because I have used this website for years.

United StatesWhen checking in, the guy that was on duty was nowhere to be found and about 10 minutes later he showed up. I asked him for a second key and he told me he couldn't make one. Then we couldn't get the WiFi to connect and when asked he told me I would have to wait to talk with his manager in the morning. The next morning when I told the girl on duty, she apologized and said she didn't understand why he couldn't help me. Other than that, our stay was great, the rest of the staff were wonderful.
The room was clean and the breakfast was good. It was also extremely quiet.
