How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Although we slept well, I mattress seems ready for replacement.
This is the second time we stayed at this location which is perfect for the second stay of our trek from North East MA to SWFL.

My only complaint is the beds. They felt like I was sleeping on boards, they were so hard.
The location is great, the rooms are clean and spacious and the breakfast very nice. The staff was very attentive and nice.

The large window had no blackout curtains. Two very bright street lamps outside made the room full of light the whole night. It was hard to fall asleep and then, when awaked during the night, fall asleep again. My dog had the same problems! At 3:00 a.m. I had to go out with him for a walk, as we do in the morning. He was really confused.

The bathrooms are a bit dated, could use a good remodeling.
The keyless entry is a great feature and the beds sleep great.

Noise from adjacent room but no fault on the staff. That would be difficult to manage.

Well there is only 2 thing I seen that needed to be fixed, was the side door by pool was hard to open, cause its coming loose, and the A/C in room was a little louder when on then use to. but we slept good.
It was very nice place, clean rooms, nice staff and the free breakfast was good and lots to choices, I love that it still has a small coffee pot in room, for us coffee lover. Its got lot on outlets for your phones and other electronics. We very much enjoyed the stay. Will stay again on the next trip to Jacksonville. thanks

Nothing at all
very clean property, especially in the breakfast area which can get messy. very tidy rooms with comfortable bed and good sized bathroom. Swimming pool and Gym also. Conveniently close to Junction with I-10 with plenty of walkable restaurants nearby.

Toilet ran until we took off the lid to fix the chain. No soap to wash hands, had to go down and ask the front desk.
Breakfast was hot n good. Staff was nice n friendly. The location was great for what I wanted to do.

The bed was actually pretty uncomfortable. That's probably the biggest negative.
Breakfast was pretty good - standard chain hotel breakfast with a few hot foods, cereal and fruit, waffle maker.

fridge made noise all night . tub shower low pressure and soft water hard to rinse soap and or shampoo . waste twice as much water. bed is firm.

Pricier than usual. Would like a bigger refrigerator
Hampton Inns are our favorite places to stay. This time Google Maps took us there through a back road that turned out to be wonderful for running rather than running in the parking lot as I have done many times before.

Staff didnt address me when I checked in. She was on the phone and just signaled for my driver's license. Did not ask me to confirm or sign anything. Did not show me which was to the elevator or explain anything to me. Place needs a make over bad. Got woke up in the middle of the night by a puppy crying nonstop next door. My wife called the front desk and they said they would call and see what the problem was..we heard the door shut and I looked out the peep hole only to see a staff member taking the dog out of the room
