United StatesThe location of the hotel was on a busy corner, so there was a lot of truck and dumpster noises at all hours. The room was very clean and comfortable but it's older and worn, as you can see in the room corners and in the worn furniture. (Though, I think the mattress felt pretty new!)
I stayed in this hotel for a business trip in early December. I really liked the clean decor, the friendly staff and the location, with a ice cream place and restaurant in walking distance. And a Starbucks just across the highway. It's right off the highway, so very easy to find. I also like the refillable pumps of soap, shampoo and lotion -- they are much better than the tiny plastic bottles.

United StatesThe room wasn't ready at 3pm. I was told it would be ready by 330pm. I left and came back around 415pm and was booked in a room and it wasn't ready. I go back down to the front desk and he calls house keeping and gives me another room and like the first it's at the end of the hall and you see nothing out of the window. I thought I was staying at the Hampton Inn Waukegan. The room was actually outdated with too much furniture.

United StatesI am a former Gurnee resident so the location area was very familiar for me.
Didn't know I needed to request a refill for coffee for me second day or maid service; pillows were small, electrical outlet in bathroom was 'very lose', the cord for curling iron/hair dryer kept coming lose. Elevator was out of service my second day; I was staying on the 2nd floor and had to haul my suit cases down the stairs.

United StatesThe only complaint was the "pull out sofa" in the King Suite was a little disappointing. If it weren't from the early 70s I'd be surprised. Also, the pillow selection (quantity) was terrible.
Perfect location for access to food, shopping and interstate. Breakfast was great, put out on time and hot. The young man who checked us in was very quick and polite.

United StatesPeople had dogs that barked all night, no one did anything about it. There weren’t enough parking spots to accommodate all the guests and I was parked outside of hotel parking. The hotel smelled moldy. The elevators were terrifyingly slow and made weird sounds
