How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Everything was great.
Marqees, front desk rep. that checked me in was awesome. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about restaurants and things to do in the area. Met all our needs doing our stay.

Not having ear plugs in the room for the after 8 am construction work that was being done on site.
I loved the friendly front desk staff. The breakfast was very tasty and the renovated rooms are very comfortable, clean and nice. We loved the close walking distance of hotel very close to the sugarloaf mills for shopping.

There was some construction going on. It was on our floor.
Breakfast was good. Location was great. We were there for my daughters cheer competition. We were close to The Gas South Convention Center.

Overall, the hotel was wonderful. Had a problem before we left. Somebody came to the parking lot and bust out windows in cars. I was one of them. Overall, the hotel, the people was wonderful, need better security.

This is NOT a reflection of the hotel itself but unfortunately, someone came and broke into a few cars. They busted Windows out and everything. Our car was tampered with but our windows were not broken. The area is nice and upscale which is probably why robbers came to the area in hopes to find something valuable.
I loved this hotel! The staff at the front desk was very friendly. They offered complimentary cookies for my kids while checking in which was kind. The room was clean and smelled good upon arrival. We were able to get towls and wash clothes as needed from the front desk. I enjoyed the outdoor patio area by the pool. The location was near a lot of good restaurants. I would recommend this location to anyone visiting this area and I would book here again.

Location was excellent. Right across street to my destination - Medieval Times. Breakfast exceptional and exceeded my expectations. The staff was awesome especially Regina st the front desk. She was extremely helpful, polite and friendly- an asset to the Hilton family.

We have stayed here 4 nights unexpectedly because of a loved one in the hospital! Everyone has gone above and beyond! Even with the construction going on, our stays have been great! Construction crew very nice as well!

Staff is wonderful! Very accommodating and attentive! We stayed 4 nights total and 1 night I had entered the wrong date! Marques was amazing in helping to get that fixed! Beds and pillows are comfy! Food is good! Coffee is fantastic! Only met 1 staff member who wasn't overly friendly! Everyone else was beyond courteous!

Stay for such a short time and cutting the comfort offered by the place. Really enjoyed being treated as an important visitor and customer of the place.
We love being at this place which offer convinience, comfort and security. The staff always go an extra mile to make you feel safe and comfortable. No question is too dump and extra effort is made to accommodate your extra requests.

Gym equipment could use some attention or replacing! But still a good facility!
