    Clean and well maintained

The noise from the bar below which went on until 3am was unbearable. I only stayed for 1 night even though I had paid for 2.

The price, the location on Main St, the extreme cleanliness, the comfort of the bed and, amenities - everything you might need for a short-stay is there in the room, i.e., coffee-maker, refrigerator-freezer, hair-dryer, closet, hangers, small-desk, etc., but the pub & grille located directly underneath the rooms ruined it for me, as well as the fact that this is a self-check-in establishment. However, you can call or text a manager if you need something or have an emergency.

The price was too good to be true and I found out why the hard way. This hotel is great for those who are UNDER 30 years old but, NOT good for people older than that unless they are hard of hearing. There is a bar & grill located directly under the hotel called The Rod & Reel, or Bud's Pub, which opens around 3:00 or 4:00 PM. And the music, laughter, loud-talking was heard in the room that I stayed in - which went on until at least 12:30 AM (perhaps longer?). Also, the back door to the Pub was located directly under my room and, every time someone entered or exited, the door would slam behind them and shake the room. This is unacceptable. If I was a drunk youngster it probably would not have bothered me in the least. Also, this is a self-check-in and self-check-out establishment, using key-pads and private codes. I was coming to town for a memorial service, driving-in from another state (5-6 hours). Check-in was at 3:00 PM. I told them in ADVANCE (via e-mail and over the phone) that I might arrive an hour or so earlier and, the rep I spoke to said it would not be an issue. I arrived at 2:20 PM, it was pouring rain. There is no parking on the premisses, so I parked about a block away (no big deal - plenty of parking), but the key-pad had NOT been programmed for my arrival and my private code was not working. I was getting drenched along with my luggage and garment-bag. It took me a while to get ahold of someone (via text and phone) and they finally programmed the key-pad for my entry. They apologized. This hotel might be great for youngsters who can tolerate such disrespect and nonsense, but not for people over 30. It's too bad really, because the room's renovation and comfort and the cleanliness was really outstanding.

The room was above a bar that was very loud. The staff were virtual and I had to make a number of calls to get in touch. Entry and departure was with lock codes. The TV was too complicated and I was unable to figure it out. There was no parking. I had to use public parking and worried my car would be towed. My room was three flights up. I had to bring my bag up and down those stairs. No elevator. There was a note that said to close the shower down because too much steam would trigger the fire alarm. Triggering the fire alarm was $400.

I liked that the room was clean and well decorated in a seaside look.

Clean, central location , seamless check in/out, non-pretentious and newly renovated.

    All good. No surprises.
