Same old chairs as in prior years. Very hard to get up out of and they seemed a little dirty The room with the twin beds. The TV did not work. Seem like it could not connect to the internet bad signal.

We enjoy having access to a restaurant and bar on premises and quality is top notch as well as the wait staff and bartender. Wish the the was open a little later.

Hale Springs Inn was exceptional. From the friendly greeting at check in,, the wonderful food options in the McKinney Tavern, the wonderful historic charm, friendly local Rogersville people- and I could go on. Whether a foreign traveler like myself or a local looking to have an amazing value for money stay, I highly recommend the Hale Springs Inn, Rogersville TN.

A delivery truck used loud air-brakes on the street right outside our bedroom window at 4:30am and woke us up. It seemed like they were making a delivery to the hotel/restaurant so it would be nice in the future if delivery times could be at a more manageable hour for guests if the trucks are going to be that loud.

Loved the historic charm, comfort, cleanliness and friendly staff. All in all, a beautiful place to stay and the restaurant downstairs was also very good.

There is nothing I did not like

I liked every thing about the hotel and surroundings. When I found out about the hotel and it's history I decided to stay there instead of newer hotel that is sterile and no ambiance. History also intrigued me. Sometimes one gives up amentias and comfort when not using modern hotel chains. But Hale Springs was just the opposite. I actually found it more comfortable. Hale Springs offers all amenities as modern hotel chains but the friendliness of staff. Their willingness to go beyond standard customer service far out shines others. The breakfast was great offering both proteins, and carbs for people that are grabbing energy as they head out for the day. Dinning room, patio, and bar eating all received the same level of excellent service. Menu was great. I had several meals and every one was delicious. I rented a car for distance exploring, but found that walking around the town and exploring all the shops, restaurants, parks was enjoyable. Again everyone was friendly and always took time to converse and share stories as they moved through their usual work days. I would encourage anyone looking for a relaxing vacation whether hiking the close by trails, or sight seeing by car. Or just walking through downtown streets to try Hale Springs Inn

awesome accommodation in the heart of Rogersville Rich with history, this gem is a must to visit and stay at the Hale's Inn. The restaurant is outstanding the food is wonderful. Walking distance to the quaint downtown. A great coffee house and boutiques and antique shops.

Perhaps a direction sign in front to direct guests to the rear entrance after dark? We walked property in the wrong direction and it was a bit of an excursion in the dark to finally find the door!

The Night Manager was super nice and helpful. I didn't have phone service while driving to the hotel. So, I didn't get the phone calls from the manager. We arrived two hours after the front desk closed but the night manager was still there waiting for us. It was a nice surprise after driving for 12 hours. The room was spacious, clean, and well-lit. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were spotless. The candy on the bed was a nice touch :) I loved everything about the hotel, the staff, and the environment there. If I am lucky enough to go back I will stay there again.

The staff were very friendly and the Inn was amazing. We really enjoyed dinner at the restaurant and we're extremely pleased with the food and atmosphere. My daughter said the complementary cookies were the best she had ever tasted
