I thought the bed (room 2) was a little on the soft side but that is just my personal opinion.

The location was great to do a walking tour of downtown Raleigh. The guest house was very clean and there were ample beverages, snacks, and breakfast items in the common kitchen area. We also loved the shaded back patio.

    Everything was perfect. Thank you.

We loved that House. Proximity to Downtown, quiet neighborhood , beautiful house with reach history, free parking, elegant decor, comfortable bedroom and bathroom, functional kitchen equipped with everything you need, simple healthy breakfast and good selection of coffee/tee, available shared space to enjoy and feel like at home. We felt as if the whole mansion was for us. Such a pleasure to live in a beautiful house even for a short time. If we were to come back to Raleigh we would definitely stay here. Touchless managament was a plus for us, two introverts. With gratitude.

    Nothing. It was perfect.

The guest house as a whole is beautifully decorated and everything functional and so well thought out. Loved the complimentary breakfast items and communal seating areas in the living, dining and patio. Never felt crowded despite the other rooms being occupied. The room was also extremely well equipped with everything I needed. The best guest house I’ve ever stayed at.

Our room has a faint stale smoke smell. It would have been nice to have a staff member there at check-in to have a little tour/overview of the amenities.

The location was convenient to everything we had planned for our trip. We were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go. The immediate surrounding area seemed a little shady, however.

Nice rooms, good snack/light breakfast options. Very close to a good food hall. Very clean facilities with a nice back garden. Keyless entry, you don't need to wait to meet anyone to get into your room. Bed is a comfortably medium firm mattress, I liked it enough that I asked where they bought it.

Tankless shower that only went to 100 degrees was a bit chilly.

Property is very convenient for doing downtown things-we walked to the history museum and the natural science museum easily, with lots of great places to eat and drink(shout out to Raleigh Times bar for afternoon G&T and Gravy for excellent spaghetti and meatballs!). The B&B was very clean, very quiet, and Marissa very attentive to our needs.

I liked everything, but I do believe it would be wonderful to have some bicycles to borrow so that guests can reach certain touristic sites without having to take their car.

I love the Swedish spa, feeling to the interior with the beautiful old southern charm of the historic exterior. The communications were excellent, even though we never actually were created by anyone I felt connected. It was quiet, so tranquil and lovely places to sit and relax, both indoor and out. conveniently located.
