United StatesCinnamon rolls were out and the pancake machine was out of order, but the breakfast was fine. Pool was closed on a very hot day, but I assume that was because thunder and lightening was forecast.
Check in was quick. Shuttle was very timely. Staff were friendly. Bed was excellent. Shower was clean and stocked. Room was well organized and had everything we needed.

United StatesI didn't realize when I booked the room that the hotel was in the middle of construction at the moment. All things considered, things were a bit dusty and sometimes a bit on the loud side but that's a given with an active construction site.
The staff was friendly, and over all the facilities were clean.

United StatesThis particular room was pretty bad. The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. The bathroom was the worst. When we went to take showers, the faucet was loose so my husband tried to stabilize it. The hot and cold were backwards. The shower was so strong it would sting your bare skin. And the shower curtain would not stay closed. I had to hold it shut while I tried to wash up. It didn’t cover the width of the bathtub and water poured out onto the floor. There was patch on the painted walls by the toilet that hadn’t yet been sanded and painted so maybe it is being worked on? If that’s the case, it shouldn’t have been rented out. But we were just there to rest our heads so I didn’t complain and ask to be moved.
I’ve stayed here several times and the staff couldn’t be any friendlier! The manager is awesome, her staff is awesome! It’s in close proximity to ECU.

United StatesMy main complaint was that the pool was not open for my entire stay of 13 days. Yes, it was there. There was a heat wave going on but, no one could use the pool. I felt as though a discount should have been offered. My booking was based on the availability of pool usage.
The location is great. It is located very near ECU Hospital and there is 24 hour shuttle service offered to the airport and hospital complimentary. The staff is exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The free breakfast was really good and there are fresh fruit snacks, yogurts, milks, tea, coffee and water provided 24 hours at no charge. The business center is adequate. Overall, a really good place to stay but the real treasures are the people who work there.

United StatesWhen I was checking in, my debit card was charged for the room. I wanted my credit card charged and used, when I voiced my concerns the lady told me to just let the front desk know at check out to charge the credit card, I did exactly what I was told to do but my debit card was charged for the stay. When I called someone told me that I would have to call back and it would take 7 days for the money to get back in my account but I don’t have time to make a million phone calls for other peoples mistakes. Why don’t they ask at checkin how do you want to pay for the room, that would have solved the problem at the beginning.
