How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The air didn’t work as good. We had it down to 68 and it felt cool walking into the room but a bit stuffy soon after. Not hot but not that cold either. I thought it may make a bad nights sleep but I slept like a baby.
The property was very clean. The rooms were big, nicely decorated but above all very clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable.

House keeping outside my room, talking and laughing while my friend was trying to sleep. I left for church at 9 check out not until 11, and they stood out the room and talked for 20 minutes. Why ?

Housekeeping waking me before check out

The hotel has great potential for updates, which I completely understand is the owner's responsibility. I noticed some damage on the bathroom counters, and it seemed like the repair could have been done a bit better. Unfortunately, the fridge in my room didn’t get cold, which was a bit of a letdown. I also found the cleaner used by housekeeping to be quite strong. It was a little overwhelming for me. It might be a good idea for them to pull out the nightstands occasionally to check for dust and spills. Perhaps having a room inspector do a quick check after the cleaning staff has been through could help too. Overall, my stay wasn’t bad at all, but that cleaner's smell was quite strong. I ended up buying some linen spray to help with the odor. Even now that I'm unpacking at home, I can still catch a hint of it. Looking forward to seeing how the hotel improves in the future!
The front desk and staff were absolutely fantastic! In all my years of traveling, I can genuinely say they were the best and most efficient I've ever encountered. They were super friendly without being overwhelming, which made my experience even better! Beds were super comfy, and the AC was on point. The breakfast was good with a variety of offerings. The man attending it was on point keeping everything clean and filled.

Pull out couch was broken. I reported it to front desk the first night. Maintenance came in the next morning while we were out. They placed the couch cushions under the head of the pullout bed to make it level but it did not maintain support when we tried to go to sleep so I was short a bed. I was not offered a new room or a discount for my inconvenience. Also when I went to front desk for bedding for couch it did not have a top sheet.
Breakfast was great. Nice variety of items and fully stocked till the end of service.

The mystery sausage being served at breakfast. They looked to be under cooked and soggy.
You could smell how clean it was from entry. The front desk receptionist made it all the more pleasant with her welcoming demeanor and ability to check us in quick and efficiently. Our stay was top tier.
