The room has very short ceilings specifically near the bed so be careful. The bathroom and short stairway is extremely narrow. Our room’s door opened right to the dumpsters and we were ran into a huge raccoon on our first night.

The property is cute and charming. The location was perfect and we pretty much walked to everything. The staff was helpful and friendly. :)

Our room was kind of hot which isn’t typical of Carmel, but we were there in August. The sun beat down thru our front window. We were in Knotty Pine. As with many Carmel accommodations, this property is older. The grounds have many uneven pavers and it was a big step up to our room. Just be aware. With that said the room was very cute and well maintained.

We love this cute and lovely hotel. Close and 10-15 min walking distance to the beach and to all the shopping areas and restaurants. We would like to give a shout out to Augustina the receptionist, thank you for all your help to us during our stay. she’s very nice helpful and friendly . She’s a very good asset to the hotel.

The gardening can be loud if you get in and want an afternoon nap as the rooms are all very close

The coffee was good, but the breakfast pastries were not available until later in the morning. We needed to get on the road, so we ended up finding a good local coffee house instead.

The room was clean and comfortable for our family. We enjoyed the two room Willow suite. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Weak shower pressure

Great location in Carmel and staff is extremely accommodating. Our room also looked like it was recently renovated so that was a plus!

Our room was upstairs and had a low ceiling. Bathroom was very small, room for only one person at a time.

Location was great. We parked our car and walked to beach, dining and shops.

The weekend staff and coffee/muffins were very welcoming and fresh. Would have loved a bit earlier access though. The weekday staff was late getting the area for coffee open and not as welcoming. The muffins were cold and not as fresh.

Great little cottages. Coffee and muffins in the morning. Staff nice and friendly. Clean accommodations. Ample parking. Close to attractions- walking distance to beach and town. Will stay here again and recommend to others!

The bed was too soft but ok. They need more variety of the muffins in the morning. I know they don't supply breakfast, just coffee and muffins but only 1 kind.

Nice quiet location and cute room. Only a block away from the main street and the beach. Not too expensive for Carmel.

The room heater was a bit noisy.

Very convenient to both the beach and downtown. We enjoyed a nightly walk down to the beach to watch the sun set. Overall a really pleasant, laidback vibe.

No breakfast. Reviews had breakfast mentioned so we assumed they still served breakfast. They don’t. When we arrived we were given a room with one bed for 4 people but they were able to quickly switch us out. Not very forthcoming with amenities.

Lots of outdoor seating. Very clean and well taken care of. Nice lobby to hang out in.
