The hotel was getting ran out of the lobby next door. We had issues as soon as we checked in. While we were waiting to get our room, 2 separate people came in and complained about their rooms. One had a dirty room and the other had someone in their room. It seemed very disorganized.

If was located in Mackinaw City which is where we wanted to stay.

Definitely not what I expected... The room smelled like animals. Carpet was wet from being cleaned which made the room smell. The beds were absolutely horrible you could feel every spring in the mattresses. The pools were closed but not to mention the 2 pools that we were told we could use the one was so green and nasty the other was alright but had flaking paint that was floating in the pool. Overall I was very disappointed.

Bathroom light was so noisy. Both pools n hot tub were gross. One inside were full of dirt, bugs, spiders n dirty. One outside dirty green alge growing in it. Blow dryer didn't work unless you held the on button at all times.

Faced directly on to parking lot. Very basic. Not comfortable to spend time in other than sleeping. Very overpriced ahead of time; we should have waited until the last minute to arrange housing to get far more appropriate pricing.

The weather was pretty temperate, which was good because the heater/air conditioner did not work at all, and the windows could not be opened. The shower was totally unusable as almost no water came out of the shower, but filled up the tub instead.

This hotel is in a good area. It is close to town and easy to get to. The bed was old, but appeared to be clean. The bathroom was clean also. It did have a full length mirror, which is a plus in my opinion. The cable TV is good.

I don’t like the facility at all. It’s too old. And on booking.com it says that the breakfast was included but when we get there they said that they didn’t serve breakfast at all. We will not come back to this place, and don’t even try to book this, please. They don’t even want to clean our room.

Toilet paper was on the window sill, no toilet paper holder. AC/Heater air filter never cleaned, it's a wonder it worked.

There was no hot water for our shower! We had to go to the other side of the property to tell the management, then get another room just to shower! The free breakfast was way down the street in another hotel! Our room smelled bad too. Not a place I would return to.

We couldn't get hot water - both times we stayed. We ran the water for a long time - 15-20 minutes - and no hot (or even warm) water. The TV gave out on us - went black. We were disappointed that the outdoor pool wasn't operational.

There was mold on ceiling in bathroom & wash room area. The wall paper was lifting/peeling off walls in each room area/separation of thr rooms. The conventional breakfast was VERY small in choices and the building. What was strange is we had to drive (due to rainy weather) down the block to another hotel. So this small room was packed with other guests of both these hotels. We went to a restaurant instead and paid way too much for the buffet because that's all the offered. The pool area needs maintenance on roof, stairs to get in and tiling in and around pool/hot tub. Older property for sure that needs upgrades.

I liked that the property was off the main attraction road in Mackinaw City, simply around the corner. I was able to park in front of my room door to unload our belongs.

Cleanliness average at best,water pressure in shower poor along with molding tiles,and sand, rust in pipes, the worst thing was I paid and was told it was a smoke free room as the other ones next to me, at 5 am I awoke to a very strong odor of pot coming from the adjoining room lasting at least 30 minutes, I did notify the staff on departure but was offered no satisfaction, I do expect at least a 50% rate return do to this fact and will not return or recommend this facility to anyone.
