Could have been more like the picture as far as the decor. Smaller than expected so if you’re above average height, especially hearing toward the shower and bathroom, this isn’t the place for you. Some things were missing from the decor and the lights weren’t the same. No big deal. Had to go get own creamer for the creamer they had was spoiled even after was given more. If you are someone that is not ok with the bare minimum, this is not the place for you. But if you’re looking to hang your hat up for the night with a little cute flare, this will suffice.

Liked the aesthetic of the property. The set up was very cute. Shower temp stayed nice and warm. Wi-Fi was very easy and very good. Easy to navigate tv. We brought our own coffee maker but they had one there. Staff was very attentive to our needs when we needed extra towels and creamer. The room was clean and well thought out. Beach access was easy. Hard to say how the beach was for it was rainy and yucky out when we weren’t down there. Beach is not raked and more for boating. Not motels fault.

The new owner has a vision for this humble old motel and decorated it in roaring 20s style, which doesn't fit my aesthetic preference for a trip to the Adirondacks. It's forever going to be The Flip Inn in my memory. Don't care for the TV which no longer offers live cable channels.

Located near the lake, walking distance to restaurants, comfortable bed. Renovations are nicely done.

Tiny bathroom, no throw rugs or door mats, there was a fixture for a smoke alarm but no smoke alarm which was a bit concerning. Only one window opened and the room was excessively dark.

The bathroom was tiny and the shower height was short. There were adequate number of towels for our 2 night stay. Bring some handsoap for the sink which is located in the same area as the fridge and coffee.

The location was 10 minutes from our desired lake spot. The entry was easy and accessible with a numeric keypad. The room was as pictured in the listing.

Absolutely love the Gatsby theme and the location. Such a cool idea and can’t wait to come back and try another room and visit the local pub!

I was disappointed to see that the rooms decor was different from the photos online and no mention of possible changes to the rooms decor. The chandelier was different, beading behind the headboard was gone and no rug. Upon arrival we settled in and went to turn on the fire tv and the remote batteries were dead. I talked to management and it was taken care of right away, but when I asked about the different decor from the online photos, she said the rug was getting cleaned because it smelled, and the chandelier was damaged. Okay that’s fine, just wished the online photos stated the rooms decor has possible changes. Looking through other reviews I saw the same room I stayed in was the same decor from a year ago. So I was disappointed and felt like false advertising of the room.

We were really excited to stay here, overall the room was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful over the phone and text. Room and bathroom were clean. Bed was clean with lovely soft sheets and comforter. Cute Gatsby embroidered pillows that were available to purchase as a keepsake, as well as robes and towels. Beautiful lake view. Thank you for the overall stay and experience!

The only real downside was that the room uses a mini-split heater/AC. We were in town in early April for the solar eclipse, which is still quite chilly in the Adirondacks. The unit was VERY noisy, and kicked on and off throughout the night. Our eventual solution was to kick up and get the room nice and toasty, and then shut it off all together for the night. After that, it was easy to get to sleep; without light pollution outdoors the room was nice and dark!

Of all of the places I've stayed where there wasn't someone at the front desk, this was by far the smoothest. The check-in procedure was clearly communicated via email and text, and it was easy to get into the room upon arrival. While the motel was clearly a decades-old structure, a great deal of care was taken to class it up with the Great Gatsby theme and branding. The TV had a Roku, which meant that we could access all of our streaming services. And the WiFi was decent and easy to use.

Great location across the street from the lake Sacandaga and beach. We were there for a nearby family reunion and the location was perfect. The room was small but clean and well equipped. The motel was very quiet and peaceful. I would stay there again.

We reserved two units, end up only one available, they couldn’t get ready for another one.

The manager never gave us extra towels and blankets when we asked, never returned the phone calls and texted back since there was no office on site.

No one was there to greet us! They didn’t realize we had made a reservation! There was a sign posted w/a phone # f/assistance w/the former owners phone! The room was very small & it looked really run down from the outside! It was a small disaster & kind of scary! The former owners contacted the new manager & she did finally call us back & she was very nice & helpful! The mattress needs replaced immediately! Cute decor!

Extremely dirty. What appears to be mold is growing on the wall. Bedding was dirty. Entire room was damp. Pillows were stained. Wallpaper held on with painters tape. Back doors to the rooms left unlocked. Absolutely no onsite staff. No toilet paper. Batteries in tv dead. Coffee maker dirty. Luckily we only stayed in the room to sleep, but would have left had we not pre-paid for activities in the area. Spoke with the owner and was given some story about their entire family being in the hospital and because of this the room had not been cleaned in over 2 weeks.

The room was filthy. Coffee is the coffee pot. Stains, hair on the sheets. I know they didn't wash them all. Tiny room. We purchased sheets and threw everything off the bed. Stains all in the carpets. Tiny TV. Dirty fridge and sink. I was shocked. Would have left but nothing else was available!

The outdoor space just consisted of 2 chairs facing over the busy road, but we it did allow for glimpses of the lake.

The motel/inn was small but charming and updated. The details were perfect right up to the little pink refrigerator made to look old fashioned. We enjoyed walking the charming neighborhoods and the closeness to the lake and restaurant. It was very clean.
