I think this hotel is starting to show its age. The TV was running analog signal which looked like a 1990s video game. Holes in the chair and rust/dirt in the air vent right above the shower was a little sketchy.

Good location, friendly staff. The bed was one of the more comfortable ones I have stayed at which is always appreciated. The room was nice and spacious as well.

The staff was truly amazing. Missy and Osiris were very helpful and professional. What a hard working staff. The room were good sized and felt very safe. Easy parking. Lots of food nearby. Easy off and on the highway. Would say for sure if your travel across the United States make sure you hit this stay in Luverne Minnesota. Pool and hot tub to enjoy. Breakfast is great.

The two items that needed attention were: The room air conditioning unit put out a stale/musty smell. We needed the air as it was hot during our stay. The breakfast was good but understaffed. We ran out of food and the tables were "syrup sticky: and full of crumbs because they were not maintained during the breakfast hours.

We liked that Luverne had a nice place for us to stay for the weekend.

The furniture was worn out. IT has been a nice place to stay and is very well used. We were given a different room than what we booked without explanation. The room we were put in was not accessible.

The front desk staffer, Benny, took amazing care of me. She went out of her way to correct an error in my booking. Extremely pleased with my stay. Breakfast had a lot of good options. Room was very clean and a good size.

I had a reservation for Saturday June 28th. I had a confirmation number, a pin number and had put on the reservation that I wouldn't arrive until 11:30 pm. When I arrived, I was told that I had no reservation and that the hotel was completely booked and there was no room available. I was told that I could go across the street to the EconoLodge and see if they had a room. The gentleman at the desk told me that there was no room available there but he was kind enough to call other hotels and find a place for me to stay. I didn't receive any of that type of customer service at Grand Stay. I have stayed at the Grand Stay before and never had any problems. I was very frustrated, I wasn't happy with the lack of customer service and I was very tired after driving all day. Did they overbook? Did they give my room away and never looked at the reservation where I stated that I would be there at 11:30? I don't know if I would stay there again

The beds were extremely uncomfortable. First bed squeaked every time I moved bedsides being very uncomfortable … 2nd bed didn’t squeak but was very uncomfortable. No padding or softness to the mattress. It was like laying on a board. Left with a significant backache.
