The many many many emails I got before arriving were off-putting. They were very directive, requesting my car’s license plate, color, etc. there was a line like “If you don’t send this….” It felt very unfriendly and had me on guard upon arrival. Thankfully the person at the desk was absolutely lovely and welcoming so some of that ick melted away, but I disliked those emails! Also, the person at the desk, while lovely as could be, wasn’t very informed about the area. It would have been great if she’d had a bit more training about the region. The breakfast was fair.

The location was great. The place felt like one of those old times New England camps, very friendly and self-contained the way the cottages face each other.

Housekeeping could have been better. My room 23 had a slow drain in the sink. The shower curtain smelled of mildew. The Keurig did not work. There were no coffee cups just glasses for water.

Landscaping was very nice. Grounds pretty.

The doors were squeaky, most likely from the sea air, could use some WD-40 on the hinges. :)

This was pleasant stay, clean and comfortable. Breakfast on the deck was nice, perfect weather for being outside.

Showers were a bit small for a larger man :[.

Breakfast was continental, good variety however some hard boiled eggs (protein) would be appreciated. Coffee great. Had 24hr access to microwave which was appreciated as there were none in the rooms (no big deal). Beds comfortable. Hostess Sharise very friendly and helpful. Laundry services inexpensive and worked well. Location was great at we were sailing on the Schooner Heritage out of Rockport. Stayed here both before and after the sail.

We missed the wonderful breakfasts that were provided by the previous owner. In fact, that's why we chose this place over other options. Likely would not now that breakfast is so simple and unttended. And the pond and bushes in back of the deck seemed uncared-for.

Room is very comfortable and well decorated. Bed was excellent. Pleasant and convenient location.

This quaint little Inn was a great valve for our trip from Portland to Bar Harbor. Our room was small but it was all we needed for our one night stay. We especially enjoyed sitting on our little porch at night and the following morning as we enjoyed our coffee. The breakfast is a very simple continental breakfast, but we both found it to have enough to start our day.

Our room was a little small but met our needs. My brother's room was larger but was a deluxe one. Wished we'd had a view of the actual cove since it's so close, but the trees have grown enough there to block it.

Cute motel in a nice location. Loved the breakfast porch! Motel was very reasonably priced. It is in between town centers but allowed us to easily visit Camden, Rockport, and Rockland by car. There are nice restaurants not too far away. There was a nice walking trail from the property over around the hospital next door.

The room smelled damp and perfumey. The showers were a bit tight, need another garbage in the room, and seemed like there wasn’t enough parking spots close to the rooms.

The staff! Everyone was friendly and helpful The pool and sheltered breakfast area were nice too.

The office is locked, and you can only make contact by messaging the manager via booking.com, which was a bit of a pain, we felt this was unusual, and in an emergency what would you do?? Not sure if the manager lived on site, he never said, in fact, there was minimal contact atall, with no tour to show us where things were…… Lastly the breakfast area was unusual too. It’s just like a covered gazebo, not the nicest place to eat the very basic breakfast, but others might find it quaint.

Rooms very clean and well maintained. Heat if you need it, easy to control if you don’t. Could have done with a small microwave in the room, as there’s only one in the outside breakfast room.
