This time my room (#25) had some issues. Shower door needs adjusting as it didn’t open properly. The hand held shower wand and hose need replacing. (The hose leaks). Some cosmetic fixes like remove mildew and re-silicone shower. And re-painting the baseboards in the room (stained by mopping the floor) would do wonders on first impressions.

I’ve stayed at this place several times. The location is perfect as it’s one block from beach. And the price is always right. The rooms were renovated several years ago and have all the essentials including a small fridge.

No Dresser for clothes. Parking, I know it is first come first serve, but there were some people not staying there using the parking vs paying to park.

Nothing to dislike. You get what you pay for and since the renovations, The Drift gives you more than you pay for.

We’ve stayed at The Drift many times over the years. It’s very affordable and the location is convenient. The rooms have been remodeled and updated in the last year or so and are nice, clean with modern bathrooms. The staff is so pleasant and helpful, especially the daytime manager. I feel bad that I don’t know his name because we have had quite a few enjoyable and informative conversations.

Old school property that I love but need to step it up just a notch in maintenance. Shower only had 1 glass door. Guess the 2nd door broke? Beds are um worn in. Courtyard just needs a power washing.

Front desk couldn't have been nicer. Let me check in early to a great 2nd floor room. Can't ask for a better 1 nite deal. Half block to the beach, off street parking and a short walk to nitelife.....ie elbo room! My didn't likes aren't meant to deter you from giving this place a look.

The hotel was decent. But the mattresses need to be replaced. It literally felt like I was laying on the concrete. I'm extremely sore from stating there.

Fabulous location between the beach and the Intercoastal waterway. Casablanca restaurant was a block away and across from the beach, excellent! Perfect breakfasts. Lots of restaurants nearby. Walking distance to Las Olas. CVS drug store nearby. I felt safe walking there. The 1940s Hotel is not fancy. It is a hidden gem for people who care about location. There is a large outdoor sitting area with tables between the two buildings and lit up at night. We enjoyed meeting other guests there. Our large room on the ground floor was updated, beautiful and very clean. Marble bathroom. I would definitely stay there again.
