Room could have been cleaner.

The staff was Wonderful! Location is great and beautiful!

Floors could have been mopped and less gritty, bathroom vent fan broken, and no mini fridge for daily medications. And I always want a bath tub, but it wasn't there either.

Property is right on Flower lake. Access to kayaks and canoes. The pool was clean and refreshing. Close to town, some restaurants were even within walking or biking distance.

Maybe a little updating would do this place some good, but overall not complaints.

The room provided everything we needed for a few nights away with my elderly mother. It was easy to access, had a good kitchen, comfortable beds, and was generally very clean. We also greatly enjoyed having immediate access to the hotel's kayaks and the lake. We loved the old school Adirondack vibe.

There were only a few very minor issues. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped with cookware but had very minimal silverware (not enough for the three of us). Luckily we had our own.

Superb location right on Lake Flower on the outskirts of the city of Saranac Lake. The location was generally quiet and calm with a TON of ammenities that made this stay extremely worth it. We were in a great location for hiking St. Regis and Ampersand Mountains, and my friends and I were very pleased with being able to take kayaks out on the lake. The room we had was a standard double with two double beds. It was small but efficient. The room was clean - even smelled clean and fresh when we opened the door. They have an ice box and water refill station which we used quite frequently since we were hiking. The icebox was well maintained and I had no qualms about cleanliness. The staff were very friendly, went out of their way to show you around and checked in if you needed anything. I am very pleased!!

There's not much to dislike. This isn't elegance at its finest - its comfort and simple ammenities for a relaxed lake vacation. The parking lot is small, but during our stay we had no problems finding a spot. I think if you go on a weekend during peak season it might be a challenge.

Quick check in. Canoes and bikes to borrow. Walkable town of Saranac. Convenient to areas around, eg. Lake Placid, Whiteface Mountain, etc. A beautiful view of the lake.

Water view rooms had beautiful scenery to wake up to or chill at the end of the day. Pool was surprisingly pleasant, perfectly ph/chlorine balanced; actually thought it was salt water.

Bathrooms are small and a bit tight.

The manager was helpful and even jump started our car's dead battery!

It’s Location on the water and the large rooms. Coffee maker nice mugs and glass were a good touch and so were the water bottles

Couldn’t park as close as I would have liked to my room; price on the high side

An old school motel on a lake. A working outdoor pool, drive up parking. Each bed had five pillows and a soft, comfortable mattress. The price was fair.

We have no complaints and would stay there again.

Lake side

Outdated, dingy room. Uncomfortable bed.

Excellent clean and well priced motel by the lakeside within 15 mins walk to close to town; perfect.
