Budget stay with the perfect location for Mt. Rainier NP
    • Leisure trip
    • Couple
    • Junior Suite Inn
    • Stayed 2 nights

Cleanliness could've been a bit better, but nothing egregious. Decor-wise, the room we stayed in hadn't been updated in a while, but for the value of the room, it's easy enough to look past if you're more focused on budget than vibes.

We were upgraded to a larger suite with three bedrooms, which was quite spacious and greatly appreciated. Our room had a fridge, microwave, and plenty of sitting areas, which were great. This property is within walking distance of the Mt. Rainier gate, so it was the perfect location after a long hike.

No ice. But it had a little freezer and we froze little water bottles to keep our lunch cold for hiking.

Location. It's right at the entrance to Mt Rainier NP

Lounge area was very dark - would sacrifice the aircon unit for some natural light.

Location was great (right outside Nisqually Entrance). Property was very clean and beds were comfortable. Clear “late checkin” instructions given and staff were friendly.

Convenience place to entry Rainier national park early
    • Leisure trip

Poor Internet connection, even if we are inside the room. The building structure is not good to block sound from other rooms, easy to be noised by foot steps from upstairs.

Really good location, very close to the Rainier national park entrance. Clear instructions to check-in after office time.

Great location, okay for a short stay, overpriced

Cabin was subpar and needs a proper remodel. Hodgepodge furnishings and decor, mini bar of soap was broken into little pieces, poor lighting, uneven floor, carpet. Cute on the outside, zero ambiance inside. Kind of dreary, does not reflect the beautiful surroundings. Okay for a short stay but not comfortable to hang out. We only saw one of 9 cabins so our experience may have been different from others.

Best location to park entrance. Comfortable bed. Cute porch with chairs. Easy checkin and checkout.

Great location. Needs to be cleaner and more light in cottages.

    • Deluxe Cottage

The cottages do not have nearly enough lights! There are plenty of lamps, but the bulb wattage is too low! You can't see anything inside the cottage! A little more cleaning would go a long way and get higher ratings for cleanliness. There were also too many pieces of furniture in our cottage, making it crowded and hard to find spaces to put your luggage and gear.

Location is great, right by the entrance to Mount Rainier National Park. Cabins are very cute on the outside!

Went to get in bed and there was a huge pee stain on the bed which went down to the mattress which was also SUPER soiled. They did bring down new linens but I flipped the mattress to the hard side and slept on that. No protectors on anything. Pillows or mattresses. That was discusting and ruined the whole stay.

Right outside Rainers entry. The cabins were super cute. Seemed to be clean.

It didn’t seem like much cleaning was done before us. It was also really dark in the cabin as there were no overhead lights. The shower was tiny and hard to maneuver in. Beds were kind of shabby.

The property was right at the entrance of the park, so it’s super convenient. The cabins are a cute little vibe. The staff was very friendly.

There is no food option for miles, yet the cabin only comes with a microwave. There is no cutlery and no crockery, no table. One gets the impression that they really really do not want you to eat anything there and the microwave is just a sop.

The cabin was perfectly located right at the entrance to the National Park. A great relief to exit the park after a long day hiking and immediately find our accommodation

In the new cabin the carpenter ants were very active. Some traveled with us to our next destination which embarrased us with our host. The first upper apartment was very, very old and too far up the stairs.

The first room assigned was not workable for two older persons (the steps). But the new cabin was okey.

No privacy, you hear every word your neighbor says; the all sounds from above you as well. Bathroom making very strange sounds. No internet connection. Beds should be more comfortable and clean. There’s too much furniture in the room and bathroom, which has no use and makes room pretty crowded with too much stuff.

It’s next door to the park entrance! Location is great! It was spacious. Nice area next to the door with chairs on the little porch. The check in was easy and man was very helpful and kind.

There were some typical amenities that I was expecting that were not present--no coffee filters, limited toilet paper, etc. And the room was not as sound-proof as the website made it sound.

The location was absolutely perfect, check-in and check-out could not have been easier, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the WiFi worked pretty consistently. For a little trip to Mt. Rainier, this was the perfect lodging option.
