There is not a common area to sit and relax and watch TV. It has a full kitchen, but no place to prepare food and a very small space to sit and eat it. Also, the AC was not working right in the front bedroom and the bunk beds could use an additional blanket like the full size beds have

The washer and dryer were very small and the dryer kept shutting off every 2 minutes. The tub drained super slow.

Proximity to the beach and attractions. Able to have our dog. How fast we were able to book so close to our trip. Affordability. If we needed anything they were very attentive. Passcode entry so no keys to lose. Good parking accomodations.

The only issue we had was that the window on the side that had the outdoor stairs/ deck was unable to lock. We will inform the staff to be able to fix it.

Excellent location. A quick walk to the beach or boardwalk. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We were able to pay a small fee to check in early which made a big difference. The free parking space on the same block was also helpful. The place was very clean and there was a stove with pots and pans and dishes and silverware and a refrigerator. We had a two bedroom place and each bedroom had bunk beds and a full bed, a mirror and a TV and individual split air conditioning units in each room that could be controlled.

Our bathtub did not drain well at all, taking up to an hour for it to completely drain. The apartment came with a washer and dryer which was usefully in theory. The dryer's timer was broken so after 6 minutes or so the sensor said it was done. It took a whole day of turning it back on to get items dry.

Perfect location for the music festival I was there for. Plenty of choices to eat. Apartment was spacious and roomy.

The neighbor next door had 4-6 little kids running around my vehicle numerous times. They played loud music. Besides this ongoing problem everything with The Garfield House was great. Missed not getting a living room with 2 bedrooms like I replied back to that I had that. Not sure if it was Booking .com problem or not.

The fact that we were put on the 3rd floor. I asked about it and was told that's what I booked. Nowhere in any of my emails that I saved which I saved all of them, did it say anything about a 3rd floor. I would never have booked it with 2 dogs at me and my husband's age. It was way to difficult for us to even take our dogs out and the dog park was way farther than what it said on the gps. The other complaints are the bed was horribly uncomfortable and there were no potholders or baking pans. Like square ones. We had to go to the store to purchase them. Another thing we hated was the parking. We've never had to walk down the street that far to get to our vehicle. Packing to leave was awful. One day we couldn't leave at all because they were digging up the entire parking lot where we were parked and blocked us in completely with all their trucks and equipment. Someone should have told us ahead of time and had us park somewhere else. Lastly the live streaming tv drove us nuts. It kept shutting off after so long or kept showing someone's name with different codes. Not a fan!

It was close to beach and boardwalk and nice views at night. Also close in driving distance to places. A nice size place and clean.

The AC didn’t work. Lots of reviews reference this. We told the office every day and they sent someone. The units have seen better days. We talked to people staying in other apartments on our floor and they also said the AC didn’t work. The 2 bedroom apartment has no living room. Kitchen includes a table and chairs but you cannot sit at it due to how small the common area is. If you just somewhere to sleep and go this is it.

Location was perfect for our trip. We were there for the Barefoot Country Music festival and we weee extremely close to the event. The boardwalk is 3 blocks away and there are lots of restaurants. The place was clean and comfortable.

I liked the fact their was minimal contact and simple when checking in, getting in and out of house, and checking out. Laid back and easy peasey. Great location. Appreciated the washer and dryer. Very handy

Communication between central with the employee, because I informed that I was going to take my cat, I paid for it and when checking out on the way out, they asked me to notify the next time, I didn't understand, they check my reservation and the payments that were made.

There were two drawbacks we saw, and they were minor. The bathroom was small and utilitarian. My littlest doesn't love taking showers, but we dealt with it for the short visit we were there. But it worked, and would be fine for an older family/friends. There weren't enough hooks to hang everyone's towels from their showers, let alone beach items, so either extra holds or a towel rack would be nice.

The location was great. The apartment was clean and exactly as I expected. We were given a little extra bonus of the option to park in the lot for the rest of the day if we wanted, which was very kind. The check-in info text was prompt and informative, and they were quick to reply when we had a couple questions. The rooms were set up well to house the number of people there. We would stay there again.

Listing said there was a living room but was told when I got there that two bedrooms do not have one so there was no place to relax with other people.
