The corner across the street, a super market, has a serious issue at night with the (homeless?) people outside. Not a nice thing to come back to the hotel after a lovely night out, unfortunately.

The woman at the front desk when we arrived was not very welcoming. It felt like we were an inconvenience. The bed blocks the closet.

Such a gem! Eclectic and inviting decor. Nice bar to wind down at the end of the day. Room was very nicely decorated, loved the green tones. Staff were very nice and welcoming! Loved the quiet neighborhood too.

They have a nice setup for a bar/restaurant and maybe because it was Mardi Gras but the cocktails were not so great and the food was just so slow except for breakfast. Again, to be fair it was during Mardi Gras and there is just so much happening for the staff. Overall, great job.

The staff was pretty tremendous - polite and helpful - funny and positive. It’s super hard to be all those things during Mardi Gras when you are on the parade route and yet they were. The location on St Charles is great. So, right next to the street car - close to good cocktails - close to the quarter - close to the Garden District. Some great restaurants are walkable.

The blanket was very thin and I was cold most nights. They did not provide any extra blankets. The plumbing in the bathroom was weird. The toilet handle was installed upside down and the hot and cold water were reversed. (Room 712 if management wants to know.) There was only one person serving breakfast most days so if it was busy service was very slow. They need an extra server for busy times, like weekends during Mardi Gras.

Room was a nice size and the hotel’s location was perfect, right across from a streetcar stop on St. Charles. The lobby and bar area are very nice. The room was clean.

We needed to connect two reservations, but after going to the front desk we were assured it was fine. Once we got back to the room and settled we were asked twice when we were checking out.

Sometimes desk staff was absent when I had a question. One major suggestion: hotel should give customers the choice of how often they want their room cleaned. I asked twice for my room to not be cleaned, but this request was ignored. This can lower costs and be better for the environment (not replacing my soap each day.)

The decor was what I liked the best, especially the bathroom and the lobby. The location is excellent: right in front of the streetcar stop. Very proper 3-star hotel. The food was surprisingly good for a hotel restaurant! When I interacted with staff they were great. Also, other guests were making noise in the hall so I called the front desk and they immediately sent someone to take care of it.

Location is very convenient and easy access to the trolley but valet will call a taxi( seemed to be cheaper than Ubers in Nola) if needed. The room was large and very clean. I particularly like that the rooms aren’t carpeted. The most standout part of the hotel was the staff. Everyone from the front desk, restaurant and valet were so pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately for us we were there during a concert that drove up the prices of the rooms astronomically otherwise rates are comparable for a hotel of this category.
