There were several things that come to mind that were a little off-putting. There was a washer and dryer included and the pictures showed soaps for that. There wasn't enough there to do even one load and when I asked about that was told to go to the Dollar Tree and buy some. (Didn't really want to provide that or go find it). I asked if the hot tub was functioning and the answer was no but we could fill it ourselves, then drain and clean. I don't think so. I checked back on the reviews and this wasn't the first time for that suggestion. I found that the number of dishes and silverware was pretty sparse so that we never used the dishwasher once because we always needed dishes for the next meal and ended up washing everything by hand. We didn't see any plug for the tub to hold water for a child's bath. The curtain in the master bedroom that served as a door for the bathroom needed to be replaced as it was stained. Sometimes it's just the little things that are so simple to fix that can help in giving a better impression at first. None of this is earth shattering and we really enjoyed our stay here and would book again if the opportunity ever comes up again.

The house was ample size and had a nice homey feel. The neighborhood was quiet. There was an adequate amount of towels and soap in the bathrooms (although we didn't find them for the one bath for a couple of days (expecting them to be visible in the shower as in the master bath) and everything was neat and clean. We enjoyed taking our granddaughter for walks as the neighbors were friendly and the little park with swings, etc. was a short walk from the house. We appreciated the salt, pepper, and sugar in the cupboard because it's hard to think of everything when we're staying for a week, flying in, and trying to keep things simple. Good frig. We did use the grill (good) but it needed cleaning first. The back screened-in porch was really nice. The host was quick to respond to our inquiries.

We didn't have soap, ( except liquid hand soap) in the main shower and ran low on toilet paper but did not find the extra supplies until the last day, which were in the garage. It would be good to have a general notice of those sorts of things posted somewhere in the house - I realize we could have called or messaged the host but didn't want to bother that person. The main bedroom mattress was firm and comfortable but the second queen mattress (according to one guest) needed replacement. Still a nice vacation rental.

Helpful instructions on getting the smart tv to work with our apps. THis is a struggle whereever we go. I'm sure the younger guests have it all figured out, but I'd like to see more helpful hints.

We were minutes from downtown Franklin and yet, we enjoyed the quiet backyard and neighborhood. Their wi-fi was super fast. You walk in to a colonial style living area with a 55' smart tv and a luxurious dark brown leather couch. We enjoyed meals at the country style dining table. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a blender (which I love to use for my protein shakes). The back patio is screened in with a hanging swing for 2-3 people. You can escape the heat or cold by parking your car in the very clean garage. I really enjoyed the vanity lighting in the master bedroom. The bed is queen which is a little tight for my 6' husband and I, but it was a good quality mattress. I actually sneaked in a nap in the twin beds room because you can close the curtains to make it cool and dark. The owners are easy to work with and quick to respond to your questions.

There's no door on the master bath. Just a see-through sheet. The towels and the sheets are very old and of poor quality. Pillows are flat as a pancake.

Location ideal. Very safe. Shower is surprisingly strong. House is a good place to sleep and leave your stuff, but you shouldn't expect to spend much time here relaxing.

Hosts were easy to contact . Plaice was very clean and comfortable. Neighborhood had a basketball hoop and playground and was less than 3 miles from historic Franklin - so easy to walk or drive. Property was exactly as pictured in the photos.
